The Wano arc has an increased quality of visuals. There's more great animation, instead of just reaction (shock faces) and camera panning, episodes are extended through, stuff like extended fights like with Zoro here, partial manga fighting, partial extended well animated original cuts. There's a new filter over the visuals that were used in the DBS Broly movie, to make the anime look even more stunning even if there isn't lots of movement. And Wano has tons of new music :)

I watched theses few eps myself last week and seeing Ace again was amazing but my feels couldnt handle then and still cant now lol. its a Sad kinda happy. heart burn of the feels haha I can see Luffy taking over for Ace and saving the ppl of wano. and its luffy after all just feed him

Wano in the manga is divided in acts where the person you see plays for the opening and the end. So it is structured like a traditional japanese play – and the anime here tries to use the same elements (even the curtains open in the first episode).

The purple haired girl (Otama) is voiced by the same voice actress as Gon from HxH, she's incredible. Killua's voice actress is also in this arc, see if you can recognise her

Ace did learn how to make straw hats in wano. In the flashbacks to ace, he had no Whitebeard tattoo so this was before he joined his crew. After he joined Whitebeard, he then made the strawhat for Oars Jr. Wonderful reactions as always. Loved your reaction to the anime, Zoro, and the Ace flashback.

The opening isn't spoiler heavy at all, as a manga reader you know what's going on or who everyone showing up is. I haven't read anything of Wano yet and can assure you I don't feel spoiled at all, it's just a bunch of characters and random scenes.

They didnt mention that Hawkins working for Kaido but thats kinda obvious since their alliance with Kid was destroyed back then So they had 2 options: Die or join Kaido Well, Kid didnt join and remember what happened to him

Actually, last episode was the last episode done by the old Series Director, Fukuzawa and Character designer, Hisada. So the art style change did not happen last episode.

Yeah, luffy did say the whole ace thing so casually but I love that. He was about to attack Jinbe when he kept saying that he was gone and he went from that to this is a growth in his character that I love

Aniki in japanese means "leader" or "big brother" in gangs. Onisan in japanese means big brother in biological sense. So remember Johnny and Yasoku called Zoro "aniki", and the G5 marine called Sanji "aniki".

Do remember Wano is completely cut off from the rest of the world. They have no idea what goes on outside there. Whether it would be Marineford, or anything else big going on. They don't even get to see bounty posters or anything of the like.

in a flashback towards the end of episode 464 Ace tells Little Oars that he learned how to make hats like the one he gave him in the Wano Kingdom, which is way before that name held any meaning or us. So, yeah, impressive foreshadowing. Additionally, the "Headliner" Tama's sensei was talking about earlier was X Drake, another one from the "Worst Generation" and one who was referred to as a "fallen Navy officer". Interestingly enough, his father was the Navy officer-turned-pirate who had gotten his hands on the Opp-Opp fruit which led to DonFlamingo caging him and his crew and slaughtering them all to try and claim it (except Corozon had got to it first and force-fed it to Law). X Drake managed to escape the massacre, however, and led an equally checkered life until this point.

Regarding the lady playing the musical instrument, in the manga this arc is kinda split into "Acts" like a play. So the instrument and the curtains opening at the beginning signifies the opening of the "Act".

In Marineford was mentioned Ace was in Wano. When they showed flashback of Oars Junior , and Ace made Hat for Oars and said he learnt it in Wano and now we know it was Tama who teached him

Do u recall when Kaido jump out of a Sky Island into a reunion some of the Super Novas were having Kid, n that guys that uses music were there too. and on the sky Island before Kido jump there was that Monk guys too. so It seems Like Kido won that fight n some of them have join him.

in your previous OP reaction video I mentioned that the next couple of episodes are a 2-part filler that's chronologically out of sync with this arc. It's up to you if you want to record them together in one video then follow it up with a 3-episode reaction, or if you're gonna put all five of them in one video.

The art style, as far as I know is special to Wano. Especially because Wano was designed and thought out to represent Japan itself. Because of that significance I believe they decided to make this arc something very special and unique.

it is true that back in Marineford it was mentiponed that Ace said he learned how to make those hats in Wano Country and that was the kind of hat he gave to Little Oars Jr. And as mentioned in other comments Wano is an isolated country so they dont get any information on whats going on in the outside world. they dont know anything about the war at marineford or anything like that. thats why Otama didnt know about Ace's death and she doesn't know that Ace and Luffy are brothers

Kid is captured by kaido he's basically held as a prisoner because knowing him he refuses to work with anyone as you saw episodes ago kaido told his to stop playing pirates and not to interfere with his work as Yonkou

Kaido landed on the island base of the Kidd pirates. There was Kidd, Killer, Hawkins, and Apoo. 4 Supernovas and obviously we can see that Hawkins was subdued by Kaido and is now working under Kaido as he referred to Kaido with San at the end showing he works under him. And last we’ve seen of Kidd he was imprisoned by Kaido.

This arc is super inspired by japanese back history especially " Edo " era. If you google " Edo " " Seppuku" "Samurai " and you figure out history, it'll be more interesting!!!

I can believe Luffy casually said Ace died. Since when does Luffy not say the truth straight up. Luffy treats everyone as an adult and doesn't like to dance around the truth. This has always been Luffy's character. Yes he shouldn't have said it like he did but that's Luffy, so Im not surprised and can't be mad or disappointed in him
