To all of you going out of your way to comment about things I miss, most of the time I notice them while editing and will discuss it in the beginning of my next reaction.

Again, if something is missed normally I will mention it in the beginning of my next video.  Sometimes I miss things, I try to focus on the action along with keeping up with the subtitles.  Sometimes scenes go by really fast or I misread something.  I am only human.  Some of you need to chill.

When I edit and miss say or missed something I can basically predict what people are going to say "OH SHE MISSED THIS" "SHE IGNORED THIS" It honestly is predictable at this point.   But normally 80-90% of the time if I miss it in the 1st time watching it, I catch it while editing.

I do mention Doflamingos speech at the beginning of next video with a theory I had.  But really.  SO MANY THINGS happen in these episodes.  For me, the moment with Garp and Ace, Ace and Oars, Luffy and Ace was my main focus because those touched my heart.

Jamie I do not know why you let these comments get to you? Just ignore them and grow some thick skin.

I honestly don't think you should worry too much about what people say. Its your own experience of One Piece journey. If you miss things, you miss things. I don't think anyone understood everythinf 100% when they first watched it anyway.

Zana

It's annoying that people complain about the smallest things. You usually do the recap just fine before the reaction, adding in stuff you Mightve not mentioned before. Try not to let it bother you.

Barre Bonds

Was just about to say you shouldn't worry about people saying that, most of the time they're saying that because they've seen that scene multiple times. Smh don't worry about it!! 👍 💯

Anonymous

People really are anoying, dont let these idiots mess with your mood. You are amazing and i love your reactions keep the good vibes girl!

smf_frieza

Yeah but it is annoying to see half of the comments on a patreon post about missing things when most of the time they eventually get addressed.

Anonymous

It’s just annoying for her to see only those comments on her videos.

Vinsmoke Sannan

They are not meant to troll you or make you look bad. They might spam it more but it's for your sake to enjoy the series to the fullest. You should look it from a different perspective if not you can ignore it. Most people catch few interesting details only after their rewatching. That's why they are trying to help on your first watch

Anonymous

Just don't let it get to you. There will always be people complaining, no matter what you do. A lot of them missed things when they first watched it but now they act like experts just because they watched it more times or they had other people pointing to them just how important certain scenes are. I know it's always easier to see the negative comments cause they affect us more but overall most are supporting so try to focus on those ones, it will be much better for your inner peace.

I’m honestly sick of these OP expert, not a single one of you who are anime only watchers caught everything on your first watch. She told y’all a million time that she sometimes watches the dubs, and she has the chance to rewatch it again while editing. Why not just enjoy her enjoying the show we all love! Plz to all EXPERT, give her a god damn break. Thank y’all !!

smf_frieza

hmm.. Idk. When my mods message me about missing stuff they go "hey you know ....." in a nicer fashion. These comments, at least how they were written, just sound like they are calling me dumb for missing things. you know?

Anonymous

I think people are just trying to be helpful by pointing things out you might've missed and not trying to make you look or feel bad. Some maybe (edit, Definitely) yes but not for the most part I think.

Anonymous

Geez, are people really complaining about that? I wouldn pay attention to them

Anonymous

People who comment about missing things should just be nicer. Being toxic is not helping anyone.

Anonymous

on behalf on these people I would like to apologize... I'm sorry Jamie-chwaan 😫

In the gaming world, we call it "backseat gaming". When a Youtuber or streamer is playing a game for the first time, and the chat is just trying to control and point out every little thing. It ruins the experience for the person playing. Same thing applies here, I believe.

Seth-San

I noticed it but it didn’t bother me, you were still feeling a lot of the feels in those reactions and that’s what makes these amazing. Wow if you start cranking out episodes every day like this we will actually get to see the conclusion of this arc. Mods please help her get through this unscathed, you’re doing awesome Jaime.

My 2 cents: the majority of the people pointing out what you missed, are doing so to try to be helpful. Of course there are people who will be rude about it, and that aspect sucks but is an inevitable part of being a reactor. I like to think of the analogy of telling a friend a funny joke, but them not finding it funny, so you get mad/annoyed. From your point of view, I can see how it would get annoying when a bunch of people all comment the same "You missed XXXX". Seeing it over and over again compounds the annoyance factor. In an ideal world, one person would comment "Oh you missed XXXX" and everyone else would see this comment and refrain from typing the same thing, but we live in an unideal world. If you genuinely miss something, you can be damn sure you'll hear about it multiple times, and that's just something one has to put up with in a community as large as yours. Lastly, when you say that 80-90% of the time you'll catch things on a rewatch during edits, I'm sure that's the case, but how are the viewers supposed to know indefinitely that you will catch it when you edit it? I'm very confident in saying that most people leaving these comments are doing so in good faith. It's nice that you're able to predict when people will say "oh you missed this or that", but if you genuinely did miss something, and people inform you of this, there's nothing to be mad/annoyed about. The only scenario that deserves genuine outrage is the one where people are being toxic about it, because that is absolutely unnecessary.

GoldArthur

I just wouldn't worry about it. Some of them are trying to be helpful and forget that you re-watch it when you edit it. Others are immature, and don't know how else to express frustration about not seeing the reaction they were hoping for.

Tikwah

Reading the comments as of late makes me really doubt the "most people leaving these comments are doing so in good faith." most people part. Like seriously

lol don t worries about that one piece are full of information its impossible to remember all and no one did it . we need more that 2 time to know everything has a fan i read and watch twice even with that i discover detail i never seen before > please just enjoy the show and only if you want to know more about the world of one piece just go to read the manga :) have a great day

Kyle Garrett

I think commenting to let someone know they missed things is good, provided you do it politely. Considering you felt the need to write all that out, I'm going to assume there's a bunch of people who are complaining about missed things, rather than trying to help you by pointing them out, and for that I'm sorry. The vast majority of us don't care if you miss things because this is your reaction, and that's what we're here to see. It definitely can be frustrating if something you value is overlooked, but that doesn't excuse rude behaviour. No one catches everything that happens the first time they watch a show or film so don't let it get to you.

JJ

Yeah ppl be like that when they’re up-to-date. It’s not like they thought it was important when they first watched it too🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

benjamin freeman

im trying to explain without sounding like an asshole btw .... my only point is that its called a reaction and thats what we are all here for... so catching it later is all good and fine for you but as fans we dont get to see your reaction to it, which is why we are all here. so sometimes it sucks to be waiting for a moment to come, to see what you think about it, just have it come and go with you seemingly not to notice. i really understand where you are coming from and im not trying to be mean, just explaining why some ( at least myself) might be dissapointed/upset that something got missed. hope this made sense

Anonymous

You just cant make it right for anybody. Thats the fact. We all just have to agree the fact that we all have left out facts when we watched it the first time. But unless like the others I honestly notice new things when i watch your reaction that i havent noticed before. And next thing I want to add. I honestly want you to upload a new one piece video everyday. But this arc is so important, emotional and stressful. I dont want you to watch it in a hurry. Just enjoy it and if it takes you one or two more days for an episode its absolutely fine. Keep your good effort and have a nice day <3

Mike Drop

Not good enough Jaimie ! I need you to audibly acknowledge every second of the series. Just reading and understanding isn't enough for me.

Anonymous

You're never gonna pick everything up first time. There's just too much to take in~

Anonymous

relax, most of all dont get too in the first time, until some fans deep analyz the moment

Anonymous

i got the feeling you take every comment personal...you shouldnt

Anonymous

I recommend muting comments you’ll find everything out eventually anyway

IzzO

Im just sad you dident recognize Ichigos voice :P hehe

Anonymous

i get where you are comming from, but like understand that people are here to watch first reactions not post about understanding the stories 2 days later, it's fine to miss things of course who doesn't, but people here paid to watch theses, to tell them to "chill out" is not an argument at all, you should try to understand why they are fustrated and maybe try to improve into it, here are only people that really likes you so don't take it too personnal, it's your job after all and we are all here to help you

astherphoenixxx96

just don't mind the comments. try to take the positives, look at the fair criticism and ignore the trolls. if you go out of your way to mute etc, that would serve the trolls. i watched a youtuber, woolensleevelet's video on a topic, called staying positive or something. he talks about how people following you on servers while streamsniping happens. he does not care or react and instead takes it as a compliment that someone would find him to be important enough as to want to get their attention. i think that can be applied to all forms of online trolling

Luiz Gustavo

Jamie, i think most of the stuff you miss are bad timing, since you comment a lot during the video(this is not a bad thing btw). It's just a recommendation, but try commenting just like Khan (the one that the door feel on lol) used to do: he would say his thoughts and when the characters say new stuff, that is, the anime told you new info, simply pause what you're saying, quick read, and continue. I know that you notice what you miss when you're edditing, but we don't watch the "edditing video reaction", so just try to keep up at your first reaction. It's hard, i know (jk i don't know but i think it should be) but if you can manage it we would gladly appreciate 🙂

Anonymous

Are you kidding me? Paying for something doesn't give anyone the right to be a jerk about things. People go way overboard about reaction channels 'missing things'. It's her first time watching the series, just let her enjoy it.

Anonymous

Hi Jamie, The majority doesn't care if you miss something. Problem with people who watch reactions is that they have usually seen the same scene multiple times already (by themselves and other reactors) so a lot of little things seem obvious when you see it for the 4th time that may not be obvious the first time. Other people just get a kick out of pissing others off so you'll just encourage them to keep doing it by complaining. Btw i Love your reactions! Much Love.

Z-ONE

This. In addition to what you said, people need to understand that when doing reactions, you can't pay 100% attention to what's on screen 100% of the time. Do people seriously want reactions where she stays silent for the whole thing or constantly pause whenever she wants to say something?
