What's stopping the Marines from killing Ace right now is that it would look bad on the Marines and the World Government. Since this war is being broadcasted people would think the Marines are coward and weak who were afraid to face Whitebeard. Thats why the Marine wants to kill Ace at the Execution time regardless which would put a good image of the Navy on people. Otherwise it will be like the Marine are afraid and gave in to pirates.

Instead of always saying how "One Piece" keeps giving you such crazy plot twists and shocks. You should start saying "Oda" for he is the one still writing it. For older fans we refer to him as "GODA" for his brilliant story that keeps on going and making us love One Piece.

smf at the begining of the video you joked about that kid smiling at the archipelago and you know... He wasn't smiling because "HAHA SOMEONE IS DYING". Try to empathize with it. The heroes of the world (marines) captured a villain (a filthy pirate from the crew of the demon whitebeard) and they're about to show their victory by fighting the evil guys. It is a silly thing to think about, but the anime even showed how "normal" kids grow up thinking about pirates being the bad guys. So yeah, empathize with any character (even the random ones) and will understand their attitude

And thats exactly why BlackBeard is right when he said that there is actually no good/justice nor evil in the one piece world. It always depends on the point of view. BlackBeard and Luffy are actually quite similar they only differ by their methods you could even say they are like Ying and Yang. Both of them do what they think is right, without really worrying about the consequences.

So... All of that "devil's bloodline" and "we must eradicate from the world everything related to him" thing... Aren't they being hypocrites? Why not chase after Rayleigh, Crocus, and everyone of the crew with the same effort? Yeah, I know, Roger is a symbol, but still... I really don't get what's so important about Ace being Roger's son. His crew knew him much better than his son (well, he actually didn't meet him at all), so they should be as guilty as him, or almost. But the Marines and the WG don't seem too concerned about them.

The marine cant find rogers old crew.. which is why they got surprise to see rayligh. This arc is important cause it can show how powerful marine is and they think it might lower the pirates in the world after gol d roger started the insane amount of pirate era. And about the devil bloodline i wont talk about. cause its pure spoiler. And its only hinted about it in later arcs

As a baby they hunted Ace because there were no powerful people to protect him, since Roger's crew was disbanded, and possibly didn't even know about Ace. As an adult they only are killing Ace because Blackbeard delivered him to them. If BB hadn't done that, they wouldn't be willing to anger Whitebeard. Now, the reason they aren't killing Roger's crew is because it's not worth it. Right now they're separated and not doing any pirate activities. The instant you start capturing and publicly executing members of Rogers crew, the rest of the crew is going to get out of retirement, get together and try to save their friends. Remember, Rayleigh was able to casually fight on par with an Admiral, despite being retired and not fighting for years, so Roger's crew are no joke. Most importantly though, Shanks was a member of Roger's crew. So attacking Roger's crew means not only risking them reuniting and attacking the marines, but also having Shanks, and all of Shanks' allies, uniting to attack the Marines as well. So it's just way too dangerous for them to risk.
