Hand down one of the absolute best scenes imo. Sure there are a lot of awesome, sad, and badass moments in One Piece, but this always struck me as insanely powerful.

Happy you're feeling better! Just a heads up 382 and 383 are filler and 384 is just a fun brook episode, which is the last episode of the arc. So the main remaining meat of this arc is in 378, 379, 380, 381.

Most people outside of the straw hats call him the vice captian, and he is the first mate, which is 9 times out of ten the vice captain, so I think it’s pretty solidified

yeah zoro is cool and all, but sanji was willing to do the same, and he does not get enough credit for it, yeah he wouldn't had survived like zoro did, because zoro's "character" is based off strength and taking hits, sanji and zoro have the same amount of loyalty towards and luffy and the crew, first mate or not..its just zoro feels obligated because he's vice captain.

You know, you've evolved a lot as a reactor since you first started One Piece. I've noticed that you're reading the text a lot more in depth now, and you're not missing key points even while commentating. Also I'm pretty sure you got this, but the reason Zoro said "Nothing happened" was because he doesn't want what he did to be broadcasted to everyone. He doesn't think it's something to brag about since it's his duty, and he doesn't want to make Luffy feel guilty.

What Zoro did here really hits home once you remember that when he first joined Luffy he told him that if anything happened where Zoro would have to give up his ambition to become the greatest swordsman he would kill Luffy. Now he’s willing to throw that away as long as Luffy lives

This is where Zoro really became my favorite Strawhat besides Luffy. NO ONE else could have done what he did there. I love One Piece so much. It really is the best show of all time to me.
