hope you’re not struggling with this arc so far, this ones takes the cake for the worst or least favorite arc in one piece except for the last episodes

The thing about "the worst/ least favorite" arc stuff is that it is still a One Piece arc, and to me at least they are all enjoyable. I'm here to watch Luffy and Co. tear stuff up, make stupid jokes, and laugh on there adventures.

This is a fantastic arc, condencing in a very few volumes all the strong points of One Piece. And dang, many thongs coming from it are still resonating today. Tbh, the anime has some pacing issues (it will get worst, way worst), appart from that, it's awesome. Just re(rerererere) read it agin last week and had a blast. Hope you'll have one with the anime version !

damn she couldn't realize the similarity between the penguin and her all loved pillow man n. 1 bae in the series. Even when he said "even if i die i won't lay a finger on a woman". I'm actually surprised.

Also the fact she's reacting too, so she can't pay full attention to what's happening on screen. And the subs she's using are far from perfect too (and the translations are very inconsistent too).

Yeah the pacing does get worse, but she doesn't seem to be having a problem with it yet. It's most likely due to the fact she's never read the manga and is binge watching (I mean, a lot of people were already reading the manga by the time the pacing gets bad, so knowing what's gonna happen only makes it feel worse than it is).
