About the Commission Tiers and Last Days of the Month (Patreon)

This just happened twice today so... Yeah. Even though I'm sleepy I have to make a note of this. I know it's not your fault because the way Patreon does things is not 100% fitting of the system I'm trying to employ here but, here you go.

Please do NOT refill my commission tiers before it's the new day of the month. Please, please wait for the next month. I know you really want a piece made by me and I'm really grateful for that, and I'm very, very sorry for not being able to put it eloquently.

Sometimes a tier gets freed close to the end of the month. This usually happens when a previous occupant of the tier hits the Not Too Fast period (please consult my FAQ in my About page) which means they have to leave the tier before the next month rolls around - or else they get charged again (as Patreon does whenever it's the 1st day of a month), which forces me to refund, which depletes from my earnings due to the added refund fees.

So we have this dirty period where sometimes, you see the slot emptied up. If you get the tier then, you will be charged immediately AND also, by the same amount, immediately, when the next month kicks in.

I don't allow this form of double-charging. It doesn't gain you double the rings, it's something that I have to refund you for, and it doesn't allow you to stay in the tier as it's unfair for others who want to be in in a more legitimate way. It puts more stuff on my plate than I can handle (even 7 slots is often more than what I can take most months, and this whole thing puts a forced 8th slot in the whole schedule), and it forces me to do all that refunding which depletes my earnings.

I do my best to make it unattainable but at this point, if this keeps happening, I will have to just delete-readd the tier constantly, which fucks up the Patreon logs but it's better than all that misinformation at this point.

I am ever so grateful about the interest and enthusiasm, and I'm sorry for the initial hype followed by this kind of sullen disappointment - but this is the best way I can do this thing, and I am very, very sorry.
