Great reaction! For clarification, Hoshiumi is a second year. Kageyama's training camp was for first and second years. All the important characters from that camp; Atsumu, Hoshiumi, Sakusa; are second years actually. It speaks to Kageyama's skill that he was one of the few first years there. Tsuki's camp was the one for first years only. Also, just to add, I've always felt that the subtitle translation for Hoshiumi's speech was a bit off, and I like the way it's said in the manga a little better: "Being short is a disadvantage, but it isn't a sign of incompetence" Same meaning but I guess the wording makes it feel a little different.

It's crazy how everybody doubts Hinata here for a second. Even Suga. But deep down we all know that this hypes him up even more after watching him for 4 seasons. Especially after he learned how to observe the game. This is the first time he sees a clear goal on what he needs to be able to do to get to the level of the other insane players. And there is no way he doesn't think he can do it. Oh yeah and look at Kageyamas Face again, he looks hyped but also a bit scared. He knows he has to work even harder now to satisfy that small greedy beast.
