Season 2 Banner Art Process (Patreon)

I wanted to share the steps I took to make the Season 2 banner!

First I sketched out some ideas. The two other contenders were "Sol, NoOne and Ffion being wholesome" or "Imsh, Obi and Alice being a menace" but in the end I felt really attached to the "Real Live Version of Obi, Alice and Niffin." I might use the other sketches at another time.

After choosing the winner I went ahead and did a refined sketch, followed by the lineart.
Alice is on a separate layer in the front, while Obi and Niffin share a layer in the back. That makes it easier to move things around if needed.

Then I did the flats, coloring and final details!
