1:10:30 when you turned off the player, I almost verbally shouted “no not yet!” Haha you turned it off right before the song in the end credits would get familiar. Also, did you catch the shape of Halbrand’s eyes in 50:27?

Man, I like this show more with each episode. A quote about Sauron from the Similarion: "In the beginning of Arda (creation), Melkor (Morgoth) seduced him to his allegiance, and he became the greatest and most trusted of the servants of the Enemy, and the most perilous, for he could assume many forms, and for long if he willed he could still appear noble and beautiful, so as to deceive all but the most wary." And Halbrand is fairly good-looking. Perhaps not as beautiful as Anatar would have been, but still. Remember when Gil-galad told Galadriel that he foresaw that she would bring on the very evil she sought to end? “The same wind that seeks to blow out a fire may also cause its spread.” Turns out he was right! 23:00 when he says “I’ll never forget that (G helping H), and I’ll see to it that no one else does either.” That was almost chilling. That’s an interesting thought, that Nori could be an ancestor of Frodo’s. I guess it’s possible! “I have been awake before the breaking of the first silence.” The look of realization on your face, with your eyes darting back and forth, sorting things out, here was priceless. Love it! It was cool to see your reactions when your realized something, especially when The Istar said what he was.

Overall, I really liked this show. Loved getting a chance to spend time in this world again, appreciated the mostly optimistic message in the story, and the myriad references to the many original ideas from Tolkien, as well as the nods to the Peter Jackson movies. Sarah's happiness and her little dance of joy at discovering that the stranger was a wizard and most likely Gandalf was beautiful! Also, the reason Elrond (aka Sarah's boyfriend, lol) was looking that way at Galadriel at the end, was because he had found the scroll she left in the river, and had sussed out (or at least had begun to suspect) the true identity of Halbrand. Anyways, I am happy you decided to react to this series. As always, great job! Can't believe they are going to make us wait until 2024 for season 2!
