ooh I like how you put the title on the screen at the beginning like that! Looks good. And yes this episode is better than the first. I also found both episodes 1 and 2 better upon a 2nd watch (I had watched them before I watched your reaction videos)

Great reaction Sarah! Glad you seem to be enjoying the show a bit more, and I think your instincts were right on. Lots of good guesses all around 😃 - I think the meteor stranger is definitely some kind of wizard, maybe a young-ish Gandalf like you said (?), I also thought Arandir, the soldier elf, was taken by what looked like tree roots, which immediately made me think of ents (?), and finally the orc was just a "normal" orc, it just looked reddish like you said because she threw that red hot pepper powder on its face during the fight. 🤔

With regards to Elrond and Durin, I think the show is making a point of showing the challenge that elves have when relating to other beings. Twenty to thirty years in the life of an elf is "a blink of an eye", so even though I think Elrond feels truly sorry for neglecting his friend, he never thought it would be that big a deal. And, I think the phrase your were looking for is "sulking or wounded with disappointment". Maybe? 🤔
