This made me teary eyed.  Yes a special effect doc did that.  I'm weird like that lol.

Cool you are doing this doc Sarah. Hard to believe all that filming equipment could be replaced by an iPhone or a GoPro camera nowadays. Just imagine what those guys would've been able to make with the resources available today. 😲

I was 12 when star wars first came out, it was out of this world, i was on a school holiday in Guernsey and as a treat the teachers took us all to see it, rest of holiday was running around thinking i was luke skywalker

This is easily the most mind-blowing and awesome thing I've watched this year, at least. Wow! So much to say, and at the same time, speechless…goosebumps in the first 5 minutes…that was incredible. I watched Empire of Dreams a couple of years ago, and have seen a couple of other SW documentaries, but man, all of them are so cool...this is probably the most impressive to me so far...it's incredible to think about...this brilliant ragtag team would have a tremendous influence of generations to come. I don't blame you for getting teary-eyed. It was great. Thanks for showing us! That cliffhanger with George Lucas crossing his arms was gold, too 😂

Also, the sketches of C3P0's early designs in the documentary episode got me thinking something, so I looked it up afterward and found out that his design is actually based on the robot woman in Metropolis (a sci-fi film from 1927). That was pretty interesting to me!

knew you'd like it!!! The director is a story teller and he does a good job telling the story, I think that's why it's more compelling to watch than other docs.
