Just FYI, Padme's young senator friend, the one with the short blonde/red hair, is Mon Mothma, who will later become one of the founding members and leader of the Rebel Alliance. You can see her in Rogue One and in Return of the Jedi - I think she had a short background scene in Episode 3 too.

Also, this episode is the last one where you will need to do a big jump backwards - actually, most of the chronological reshuffling is due to these last couple of arcs - When these first aired, it was a bit disconcerting seeing senator Ono alive in season 3, when he had died in season 2 😲, or seeing Cad Bane make plans to take hostages in the senate to free Ziro in season 3, when the hostage taking had already happened in season 1 🤔. As I understand it, all of this stems from George Lucas deciding to pick 4 episodes from one of the arcs in season 1 and releasing them as The Clone Wars movie in theaters, leaving the show runners with the need to fill that hole with episodes that were originally planned for later seasons. Luckily, from now on, the episodes will go pretty much in order of release.
