I will probably skip to the entertainment district arc since I've seen the  entire mugen train arc.  

This episode is AKA Season 2 episode 1, or Episode 27 overall.

I think nobody told u this before. The reason Kyojuro saying "UMAI" (Delicious) is becos in old Japan, warriors were taught to savor every bite of food, for it may be their last. He wasn't just being energetic, he was savoring every bite of his final.

Everything after the 1st ep is literally just the movie cut into episode format. There are no extra scenes/hints/easter eggs or anything like that. The only exception would be the taisho secrets at the end of each episode

See this episode is what I missed from the movie! Solid character development on Rengoku that makes you really bond with him.

Why do we do this to ourselves? LOL. I heard that the rest of the episodes are exactly the same as movie save for the secrets so I might just go ahead and start Season 2.
