February 2020 Community AMA - Passion Edition (Patreon)

Hello everyone, and welcome to February! (Thank goodness!)

One update that I have is that I'm now on Byte! You are welcome to follow me at @ericaofanderson. I've really been enjoying it so far, and there's a lot of great artists on it already. I missed the Vine wave back in the day, so this is all new to me. 

Another update I have is more weirdly creative. I had been having trouble with using Red Giant's Optical Glow. It would glitch out no matter what I did. I contacted their costumer service, and we found out the glitch had to do with my machine's VRAM. Basically, my computer is too old lol. I did recently find a strange work around. I noticed that if my animation was touching the edges of the frame the glow would glitch. But if I scaled down the solid the animation was on by 5-10%, put Optical Glow on an adjustment layer with Transform scaling it back up, I wouldn't have any problems! If you guys were having a similar conundrum, I hope that this helps!

As far as this month's theme, I was wondering what are your passions? Outside of the creative work I do here online, I do really love to cook. I started getting into it during my first real design job out of college, and I needed to find another creative outlet. I also needed to survive lol. There's just something really calming about following a recipe. It's kind of like putting a Lego set together. This is the main blog I get all of my recipes from. They're really easy to follow if you're a beginner, and are also easy to make vegetarian/vegan.
