Patreon One Year Anniversary! (Patreon)

Today is the one year anniversary of launching my Patreon! When I started this process last year I truly didn’t think anyone would care. I get emotional just thinking about it. In the name of full transparency, I’ve made more money during my first six months on Patreon than I have in the four years I’ve been on Society6. That to me is an absolute miracle! I've made enough to be able to pay for my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for the next two years. Without that, I wouldn't be able to do what I love to do. I hope you know just how thankful I am of each, and every one of you. The past year has been very difficult for me, both professionally and personally. All of you as patrons was what kept me going through everything. I didn’t want to let any of you down. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without all of you. 

Some of my GIF titles I'm sure concerned you, and for that I'm really sorry. Those of you who reached out to me to make sure I was ok, I want you to know that that meant the world to me. Some of you showed me some of my GIFs as your wallpaper backgrounds, or as practice 3D textures. Each time you guys shared something I made in the wild, I cried happy tears. It means more than you know. 

Right now, I'd like to share some updates with you. 

As of today I have “Charge Up Front” enabled. What this means is that anyone becoming a patron going forward will automatically be charged for the month, instead of waiting until the 1st of the next month. Those of you who are current patrons, nothing for you will change. You will still be charged at the first of every month. But if you decide to either reduce or increase your pledge, you will be charged at that moment. I’m doing this to help fight fraud, and people taking my work without paying for it. This has been a real problem for me, and for other friends I have on this platform. I hope you all understand. For more information, please go to this link. 

The plans that I have for this coming year is that I want to start releasing “Director’s Cuts” of my loops. Because of file size restrictions, I can’t release some of my loops the way that I actually want them to be in terms of speed. But as a Patreon exclusive I’ll be able to! 

I will also start releasing my loops in 4k, as from what I understand, that’s the industry standard. Once I start releasing the 4k loops, as a patron, you can request any previous loop not in 4k to be rendered in 4k.

I’ve been doing research about releasing a VJ clips pack separately from Patreon. As a patron, you will get this pack at no extra cost. It comes as a need from people who’ve told me that they can’t afford a monthly subscription, which is something I completely understand. I’m hoping that this may help solve that problem, and to help get my work more out there. 

My Level 100 goal of creating breakdown videos for you all is still there. As of writing this we’re a little over a quarter of the way there, and that’s incredible! 

If there are any reward ideas that you have, please let me know! I’m all ears! I want to make this Patreon the best that I possibly can!
