Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I've been looking forward to you finishing this one. As much as I enjoyed the whole series, this is my favorite episode. We get to see more of Kingpin. And Vincent D'Onofrio's on-screen chemistry with Alaqua Cox is fantastic.

This is definitely my favorite episode of the series, both Fisk and the Grandmother have their best scenes here. (And the Lion King quote with Biscuits is kind of funny. ) 🙂 My one nitpick is, despite ample opportunity this episode, Maya doesn't confront Fisk about killing her dad. Rather than ask Fisk point blank if and why he had her dad killed she just ignores the whole topic and leaves it unresolved. Even assuming Fisk would spin the facts for his advantage it still would have made a lot of thematic sense for them to have that interaction, it just feels a little weird to totally leave it unresolved here. 🤷‍♂️ Even a line like "You killed both our fathers" in the hotel scene after Fisk talks about the hammer for instance could have worked. Still, that's a minor gripe, it's a solid episode overall. 👍
