Here's the full length reaction to ROCKY!! I've been recommended this movie time and time again, so we're starting 2024 with Rocky :) I was expecting the whole movie to revolve around boxing, but I didn't expect Rocky to be such a loveable character! I certainly didn't expect a love story either! This is such a special movie, and I can see why it won Best Picture. Enjoy!

I like how Adrian goes from resisting a first kiss to "You want me to rub you down?" in about 25 minutes. :D On a side note, I grew up with this movie, and it's SO much different as an adult than as a kid. As a fan of history I love how it captures 1970s citiy culture.

Rocky II is really good, but the other sequels start to get silly and more Hollywood. I saw Rocky in the movies when I was 17 and kids my age absolutely loved it. Oh I was a cross country runner, and I tried the raw eggs drink once, yuck. But this was the 70's and years before the delicious protein drinks of today. I think a lot of people my age or older, athletes tried that raw egg drink once after watching Rocky, LMAO :)

Wonderful reaction, Addie! I hope you visit all of the following movies, including the “Creed” films). As someone who has lots of family in Philadelphia, and lived in and spent lots of time in the city, I love these movies. It’s fascinating watching how much the skyline changes during the run of all of these movies. The city looks so different now from the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art… (minor spoiler) …and that’s where the Rocky statue that will show up in Rocky III is currently located.

I was waiting for Rocky IV to begin a marathon but the recent event made me start it now. Thank you, Carl Weathers
