It's almost time for this month's Q&A! Ask a question, any question!

Zachary Huneycutt

My question for you is "What do you think of my poem 'The Fox Feet?'" I shared the link to the podcast episode in my July 22 message to you in your Patreon messages and go on at 1:44:30. My appearance on this episode is about ten minutes, give or take a couple minutes, and I also read the 1st poem I ever got published in Warp 10 Magazine on it as well. I wrote "The Fox Feet" when I was fifteen based on a fairytale my aunt made up and told me when I was a kid, and it is a really fun, rhythmic, off-beat poem that I like to share with people who have never heard my work before to break the ice and get them curious about my writing. You know I want you to read my stuff, Addie, so that's my question. I think you will really get a kick out of this one, and I'd love to hear your thoughts about the poem.

Not a question (so you don't have to address it in your Q&A video), just an October prep sheet, if you will. I know you're not crazy about horror movies, so I'll suggest a few less scary alternatives (though obviously we're going to expect you to watch a few genuine horror flicks). Movies with ties to the ones you watched last year: - "Red Dragon" and "Hannibal" -- the respective prequel and sequel to "The Silence of the Lambs" [should be a package deal] - "Doctor Sleep" -- sequel to "The Shining" (trust me, it's not nearly as scary) - "Prometheus" -- technically a prequel to "Alien," but I prefer to view it as an in-universe spinoff; alas, its follow-up, "Alien: Covenant," largely ran away from its central story Alfred Hitchcock's creepiest films: - "Psycho" - "The Birds" More comedic in nature: - "Young Frankenstein" (though you'd likely get more of the jokes if you saw the 1931 "Frankenstein" first) - "Ghostbusters" (would be a re-watch for you, obviously) and "Ghostbusters 2" (though it takes place around the holidays, culminating on New Year's Eve) - "Beetlejuice" (would also be a re-watch for you) - "Corpse Bride" - "Frankenweenie" More 'thriller-y' than scary: - "Wait Until Dark" - "Play 'Misty' for Me" - "The Dead Zone" - "Misery" More "Jaws"-level scary: - "Piranha" (1978) - "Tremors" - "Arachnophobia" Genuine horror flicks (as you said you probably couldn't go another 4th of July without seeing "Independence Day" or "Jaws," you probably can't go another October without seeing at least 2 of the following): - "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) and "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) [should be a package deal] - "The Exorcist" - "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974) - "The Omen" (1976) - "Suspiria" (1977) - "Halloween" (1978) - "The Fog" (1980) - "The Howling" - "An American Werewolf in London" - "Poltergeist" (1982) - "The Thing (1982) - "The Fly" (1986) Movies you can watch in either October *or* December: - "Black Christmas" (1974) - "Gremlins" (as long as you also eventually watch "Gremlins 2," which doesn't take place around the holidays) - "Edward Scissorhands" (another re-watch for you) - "Batman Returns" (obviously you'll have to watch 1989's "Batman" first) - "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (providing you haven't already seen it)

Hello, any chance of a site/folder/spreadsheet type thing where we can 1. request movies and 2. you can see the order of most requested to least?

Chip MC

Would you be interested in reacting to “Prey”, the prequel to “Predator”, since were at about the 1 year anniversary of its release?

Joe Mallard

Any great comedy reactions coming in the future?

My wife and I are about to embark on our first cruise! (To Alaska, in our case.) Have you ever gone on a cruise... *other* than a Disney cruise? 😉 If you were to do so, what would your preferred destination be? Alaska? The Caribbean? Perhaps a European river cruise?

Heyyy, it’s Bill-E and it feels like we did this just about a month ago 😂 You’re sitting here at 69K subs and by the time this video pops up, who knows. When the AMA video pops we’ll be close to the start of Ahsoka! Are you excited for the Ahsoka series? Will you be watching? (the first week will have 2 episodes/ Aug 23) I bet you’ll still enjoy it even if you haven’t watched the other series (SW Rebels or Clone Wars) Mix & Match and YoureMrLebowski have included you in their compilation videos. How does it feel to be included in a compilation video? I’m hoping to see you in a J2O compilation one day! (Johnny O’Dell) Your part 1 of The Fellowship of the Ring is missing sound for about 4 minutes. Any chance to fix and re-upload that? I think that’s plenty from me. I look forward to finding out your answers. Take care of yourself, Addie!! Hello there, Ollie!!

When you watch movies, do you try to guess where the story will go, or do you just let yourself be taken for the ride? Since you are wrapping up the MCU and the X-Men, I'll suggest some single-titles and shorter (truncated) series based on comics: "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (2010), "Sin City" (2005) -- there's a sequel, but IMO it is skippable, "Watchmen (Director's Cut)" (2009) -- the theatrical release is really lacking and the "Ultimate Cut" is too much, "Blade" I & II (1998, 2002), "Superman" I & II (1978, 1980), and "Batman" and "Batman Returns" (1989, 1992).

Part 1 of Addie's reaction to FOTR is missing sound in the first 4 minutes due to copyrighted music in the Prologue.

DazzNovaNature

Do you believe in fate and that everything happens for a reason?

Byrd N. Hand

She should definitely see those 2 "Superman" and 2 "Batman" movies before she ever touches the DCEU.

Is there a story behind your fear of snakes? Do you ever see yourself conquering that fear?

silverarrow06

Do you plan to react to "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3"?

Byrd N. Hand

She's watching the whole MCU, so I'd be highly surprised if she skipped it... especially given that it's apparently one of the better-received post-Phase 3 items.

DazzNovaNature

Have you watched any of the Terminator movies? If not, would you like to give them a watch in future?

Byrd N. Hand

She's done the first 2 for the channel. The second one getting blocked on YT has made her reluctant to continue the series, though (ditto "The Matrix"). I hope she eventually at least watches the third one (and the second and third "Matrix" movies). I'm pretty sure no other channels have had issues with the others.

Byrd N. Hand

Will you be able to fit at least one more summertime movie in before the end of the month?

What was favorite moment from each Phase Four project of the MCU? WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, What If…?, Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, Hawkeye, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Werewolf by Night, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Randolph Tirazona

Can't remember if I already asked one but... So, having experienced LotR how do you feel about Golum now?

DazzNovaNature

What do you think of the Kang villain so far? Compared to Loki, Ultron and Thanos.
