This episode was so phenomenal. Once again, Vincent D'Onofrio walks away with his performance as Fisk. And I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling for well written villains, Addie! The best villains in my opinion, are the ones that you either understand their motive are straight up feel sympathy for. There's a lot of cool symbolism with Fisk thus episode. Since you know his villain name and saw him full force in Hawkeye, I can talk about it with no spoilers. So the Kingpins classic comic look is a white suit. He's been wearing black this whole show. But now, Vanessa has him wearing a Grey suit. I think that Vanessa unknowingly enabled him to let go of his fear. Saying that he's not a monster, and not wearing his father's cufflinks anymore gives him permission to be that monster. To do what he's been doing without shame or fear. He's slowly becoming The Kingpin. This show is so damn good and I'm so happy you're dipping your toes into the Defenders Saga, Addie!
