While there's plenty of awesomeness to come, that scene in the confessional at the beginning of this episode is still one of the best of the whole series. I don't think it's a spoiler to say you haven't seen the last of that priest, his & Matt's interactions are a real highlight of this show.

It does get a little tricky if you keep watching beyond Season 2, because of the whole Defenders saga. But honestly, if you don't want to watch all of that it would basically take one sentence to get you up to speed on the relevant status quo going into Season 3 of Daredevil(which genuinely rivals Season 1 in terms of quality).

Yes! I'm so excited for you to watch Daredevil! So I'm not sure if you noticed, but in the Police Department, and in Matt's house, a heartbeat could be heard. In the police department, the heartbeat was slow and steady, and Karen was telling the truth that she didn't do it. And in Matt's house, it was elevated when she lied about not having the Pension File. So Matt's hearing has some incredible range to feel heartbeats. Just try to catch that, everything in this (and really all shows and movies I'd say) is intentional. Also, it's implied, but this show and the Defenders Saga as a whole is loosely connected to the MCU. "The Incident" is referencing to Avengers 1. So for now, people have seen the existence of aliens from Lokis' army and saw the Avengers uniting for the first time. That definitely changed the game. 😅 Can't wait to see the other episodes, Addie!

Some people's super power is to constantly complain. Luckily Addie's superpower is her ability to get through shows quickly. Can't please everyone. I will enjoy this show not because it's a superhero show but because it's well written, directed, & acted.

Daredevil is a fantastic show, I just couldn't hang. If 2 people binged the MCU and Daredevil side by side the first person would be in the middle of Thor Ragnarok when the second finished Daredevil. That's great if Daredevil is one of your favorite characters, but for me he was never in top ten. I'll be seeing you on youtube for this one Addie, I hope you enjoy it!
