HEEEEELPPPPPPP! (Just kidding, this question isn't that dramatic) I've heard a lot of requests for the Rogue Cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past. The theatrical cut of Days of Future Past is available with a Disney+ subscription, and the Rogue Cut requires you to either rent or buy this version. I want to be mindful of what is better for the majority of you in a watch-along format, so vote to let me know which version you'd prefer me to watch!

Despite RC having more content, I think Theatrical is in general much more polished and better-edited. Also, in Rogue Cut, one of the biggest surprises in the Theatrical becomes very predictable. RC also isn't the best when it comes to pacing, some sequences may feel too-long or 'dragged-out', whereas the biggest attraction of Days of Future Past is having a quick and choppy quality to its editing. RC have more content for sure, but I don't think it's the kind of content that the overall story desperately relies on. It is a good supplement. Definitely check out Rogue Cut after Theatrical, maybe even do a reaction.

I'll echo what many others are saying: the Rogue Cut is nice and all, but it doesn't change or add anything that would change the Theatrical cut substantially. There are a few alternate scenes, and some side characters get more screen time, but that's about it. Everything plays out the same. So for a first time watch? Go Theatrical as it's more widely available and a damn fine movie on its own. My top favorite X-Men movie actually. And if you have time and are real curious, you can check out the Rogue Cut, either on your own or as a reaction. But for sure Theatrical first. Now...if we were talking Justice League vs the Snyder Cut...it's Snyder Cut all the way. lol

this is a fair assessment. it seems the Rogue Cut is a losing battle at this point. the theatrical is absolutely an awesome movie on its own. days of future past is my fav of the series. if you were to ever revisit it on your own, go with Rogue Cut then.

So, this is one of the best X-Men movies either way. The Rogue Cut adds some scenes--you can probably guess concerning whom (or pertaining to whom)--and they're definitely cool; however, the theatrical cut is still a really good movie. And since it's what's available to most people without extra cash involved, I say go that way.

The rogue cut is the far better version, go with that one for the best experience addie. Ignore the naysayers voting theatrical.

Richard Maurer

The Snyder cut is definitely better than the theatrical, but that's not saying much since the the theatrical cut is garbage.

I've seen both versions of XM: DoFP and I don't really think one is that much better than the other. It's not like LotR, where the extra scenes add a lot to the experience.

Y'all torrents still Fucking exist, ya Fkn BAYYYYYBIES..........

sarCC

Theatrical as it'll be easier for the most people to watch.

It is always. A L W A Y S. Morally correct to screw over/Pirate Streaming Platforms etc.

While I think the Rogue cut is a better movie, the theatrical is just easier for people to access & sync without having to pay extra (if they already use Disney+ or another source)

The theatrical flows better in my opinion plus yeah, it's on Dis+

i know plenty of ppl who still torrent (especially outside of the US) bc otherwise they wouldn’t have access to a lot of tv shows and movies regardless of their streaming platform. i myself don’t have much need for torrenting these days but im not about to pass judgement on anyone who does

The Rogue Cut adds few extra scenes that are unnecessary and really just slow the pace of the movie. It's kind of baffling why they even bothered releasing it.

Since I'm from the UK. I torrent shows that are on the cw or HBO max, since we don't have that here. I think that's fair
