Here's the full length reaction to S3E3 ("The Convert") of The Mandalorian! This episode definitely went a different direction than what I expected, but I'm looking forward to seeing its significance later in the season. Enjoy!

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

I personally loved this episode felt like a mix of Andor and Mando with nice range of aliens, something Andor lacked along with showcasing a more colourful and art deco depiction of Coruscant instead of the more brutalist cold depiction of the city which suited the Imperial rule. Loved that we saw a good amount of iconic landmarks from the films and tv shows like Clone Wars. Also loved how they showcased the everyday life of a former Imperial now under the New Republic rule it was an interesting episode that did far more worldbuilding for the New Republic than any other media for me in canon. Andor was pretty mixed with Star Wars fans for being very different so I'm not too surprised that some Mandalorian fans were taken aback by this episodes massive change of pace. One second you're watching a Saturday morning cartoon and the next you're diving into the politics and drama of former imperial members trying to find their way under the New Republic with events and topics inspired by 1984. I could definitely see this being a left over from the Rangers of the New Republic show that was cancelled so they used an episode idea and placed it in Mandalorian Season 3 to develop the New Republic while also showing the Imperials infiltrating the New Republic. It just seems very out of place and Rangers sounded like the perfect show for an episode like this.

Another great episode! This episode had some mixed reactions. Loved the opening sequence. Most of this episode had an "Andor"(can't wait for you to start that show)vibe to it, which I loved. And Mando is welcomed back into the convert after providing proof that he bathed in the Living Waters on Mandalore. And Bo Katan is welcomed as well after it's revealed that she also bathed in the Living Waters. Have a great rest of the day! 😊

The episode started with a fantastic aerial combat scene!! Movie quality worthy!! I especially loved the move from Bo-Katan. It reminds me of a similar move called a “Crazy Ivan” it’s from the series Firefly, which I have no doubt that people have recommended to you. I am leaning towards that as well. Ever since the Razor Crest was planted with a homing device I hated her character. We just learned her name but Elia has been despised from that point on. She’s why Grogu got captured, why there’s no Razor Crest, and now why the Doctor won’t be able to remember his face in a mirror! 🤬🤬 A STAR WARS fan will always hark back to Return of the Jedi when the word “trap” is mentioned. I love how it registered with you. Hence, a SW fan!! The Living Waters. My theory is that since the Mythosaur stays in the water, there’s a connection between it and the properties of the water AND beskar. When the Armorer pours it into the cooling/tempering water we saw the shimmer it produces. That’s the irrefutable proof. ALSO… since the first time we meet the Armorer, whenever she has forged something, she has poured a liquid that has the same effect. Meaning one of two possible things. She has kept a huge inventory of the Living Waters with her or she has gone back and replenished her supply. And since there’s been a similar reaction every time it means that the Mythosaur has always been there. I know you will likely continue with the next episodes next week but if you feel like posting them even sooner, I doubt anyone will have any issues with that. Can’t wait for more. 💚 This Is The Way 💚 Take care, Addie!!
