Here's the full length reaction to X-Men Origins: Wolverine! I've heard some negative things about this movie (the dialogue isn't greaaaat), but I'm glad I watched it because it seems to set up a lot for the X-Men future! Enjoy!

I'll go ahead and mention that I accidentally called Scott "Steve" for the entire movie... The name didn't sound completely right in my head (I definitely know his name is Scott!!), but I guess he just seemed like a Steve to me in this movie?? I guess enjoy this reaction where I accidentally call one of the main X-Men by the wrong name even though I've already seen him in three X-Men films and called him Scott tons of times? Enjoyyyy??? (And don't hate me!!!)

So everyone has already explained the true Origins in the comics and the many valid critiques of the movie 😅 And as far as Logans' healing and powers in general.... yeah, he's very animalistic in his instincts, as you've seen 😆 His healing is one of the most notable in Marvel. He's survived nearly anything. And in the comics, ooh boy. He's been reduced to a single cell, and regenerated. Like, painfully and slowly regenerated, one body system at a time. Nerves, skeletal, muscular, organs, and finally skin. They of course have to make him weaker in the movies. So his soft spot is the brain, so decapitation or completely destroying his brain would kill him, cause there would be nothing left to heal. But yeah either way, he's practically immortal, as it's damn near impossible to penetrate his Adamantium coated skull in the first place. Wolverine is one tough cookie, but man does he have it rough, physically, emotionally, mentally, the man just doesn't ever win. And if he does, it's not without a lot of pain. But yeah in terms of the timeline of the X-Men movies.... this is the movie that messes everything up. So take this movie as an explanation of Logan becoming Wolverine, but in terms of the events like the forming of the X-Men with Charles finding Scott and them, plus the "Deadpool" in this movie..... take all of that with a grain of salt. Don't acknowledge this when watching future movies because there's too many inconsistencies. So scrap this movie except when thinking about Logan. He's.... lived a long, long, long life. And has suffered more than even he knows, and he won't ever remember it. But this Deadpool became very widely famous for being bad and was hated a lot lol. Just keep in mind Logans past, and remember how sad his present also is. Lost Jean, lost Charles, lost Scott.... he just keeps suffering. Still, I'm happy you watched this movie, despite its issues, Addie! Can't wait for First Class!

Wait. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is NOT on Disney+??? I paid actual, real money to see that “movie” in a theater in 2009! Haven’t I suffered enough?!? My Disney/Fox overlords? 😉
