Patreon Exclusive! Here's the full length reaction to Venom: Let There Be Carnage! Carnage was insaaaaaaane! Loved seeing more of the relationship between Eddie and Venom in this one. Enjoy!

I watched this movie before seeing some comments on the Venom post about maybe not watching this one before No Way Home. But if it makes you feel any better.... I don't think I know what was happening in the end credit scene hahaha. I thought that maybe it was a blip related thing, even though the timeline would've been off. Soooo... I don't think anything was spoiled because I'm just confused hahaha. Spider-Man: No Way Home is up next!

So yeah the race that Venom is, you can call Symbiotes. What Venom was saying is that Symbiotes are all connected to each other. They share a Hive Mind, they are all one. And, not just in their universe, but across all universes, all of reality. Venom was going to show him, but something occurred and brought them.... to another universe. The Venom movies obviously aren't in the MCU, but in that end scene, Eddie and Venom were brought to the MCU. And that moment was right at the end of Far From Home, where Mysterio leaked Peter's identity. Venom seemed to recognize Peter, even though they've never met. I'm pretty sure it's because as others have said, Spider-Man 3. If all Symbiotes are connected, that includes the Symbiote from Spider-Man 3, that Tobey Maguires Spider-Man faced off against. So Venom does have those memories and when he saw Tom Hollands Spider-Man, it all came rushing back to him. I'll connect more dots later. I cannot wait for No Way Home, Addie!

This film gets a lot of criticism but I'm happy to see you approach it enthusiastically. After No Way Home, the next film on the Sony/Marvel list is Morbius, which also gets a bit of hate but I'll bet you'll enjoy that one as well. You should consider watching Natural Born Killers, which is an Oliver Stone directed film of a Tarantino story. That also has a violent Woody Harrelson in a love story. Or, rather, in a story about violence that has a romantic element to it. At least I found it romantic. I don't know if that film would make my top 50, but it would probably make my top 100.
