Here's the full length reaction to Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker, the last of the Sequels! I honestly enjoyed a lot of elements of the Sequels, but I know that it's easier for me to enjoy them since I don't know a lot of Star Wars lore! I've heard a lot of amazing things about The Mandalorian, so maybe I should check that out somewhat soon?? Enjoy!

I think one if the problems these movies were always going to face no matter their content is there are a lot of star wars fans who got into the expanded universe (legends) that was clean slated when disney bought star wars. The EU had some really good content and fully grew out the characters and their families. The important thing though is that you enjoyed them. I did as well. Definitely need to get into clone wars and the live action shows for sure. Clone wars especially as it really makes the prequels shine. Thank you for sharing this journey with us

For me, the 'core saga' *WAS* always Star Wars for me, so I was never going to be interested in all these 'side story' movies and TV shows (though I'm fine with them existing). But, unfortunately, they completely botched the ST and left no viable path forward for Episode X and beyond, and, thus, left me no choice but to not give a shit anymore (unless they completely redo the ST and this time actually stick closely to the story George Lucas gave them to use in the first place; I don't care if they have to recast most if not all of the OT characters to do it -- let that be a scarlet letter on Di$ney for not doing it right from the start).
