Here's the full length reaction to Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One! It's a sad feeling that I can't go ahead and watch the next one because it's NOT OUT YET!! I don't often have to wait for movies haha. I had SO MUCH FUN with this one, and I can't wait to see what comes next (even though I have to wait for it boooo). Enjoy!

Let's give Addie a round of applause for officially getting caught up with the Mission: Impossible film series with Dead Reckoning (2023). 👏👏 Happy Friday. I'm so glad you enjoyed this movie because this is my second favorite movie of 2023. That motorcycle jump and that train car finale are my favorite scenes in the movie. It still comes to show you that the stunts are only getting crazier here. See you next year for M:I 8.

But I do know of the great cast. I'm thinking that Part 2 comes out next year. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. I saw that your "Fallout" reaction got blocked on YT. Are you going to be remedying that before this one drops over there? I'm hoping this will be the last franchise you react to that exceeds 5 movies for a long time 🙏 (and one of the last action movies for the foreseeable future) -- unless you continue with the James Bond series, then, by all means, do so 😉 (though even with that I'd recommend taking another break after watching the first 7 of them).

I do really dislike what they did with Rebeccas character she deserved better, but i do love that we got Haley Atwell not that she is a replacement in any way, at least we wont have too long to wait, just another 7 months lol, really hope they can pull this ending off.

She didn't "deserve" anything. It's a story. You being mad a character's arc is complete doesn't equal bad writing.

If you have a craving for more, it might be interesting to go back and watch one of the "top rated" or "best" of the original Mission Impossible tv series, just so you can see where this all came from.

Addie, so Popcorn in Bed did a reaction Mission Impossible Fallout, and Tom Cruise and the editing cast saw her reaction and invited her and her sister out to the Red Carpet premier to Dead Reckoning lol.

Off topic, but Maggie Smith, the two-time Oscar-winning actor best known for playing Professor McGonagall in "Harry Potter" and the Dowager Countess on "Downton Abbey," has died at the age of 89 today. This is an actress who filmed all the 8th Harry potter movie while fighting breast cancer all becsuse she didn't want to dissappoint the fans.

I saw this one in the theater, and for the most part I liked it, but I had trouble following it because I was very tired. I had been waiting to watch it again for this watch along. This is much better than I even remembered from the theater... since I was not dozing off :D I cannot wait for the next part, but I am also sad, because I think the next one marks the end of this movie franchise. It is the only thing that really explains a two part story like this. I hope I am wrong, and maybe they pass the torch, even though I cannot imagine the franchise without Ethan. Time will tell. And before I get a plethora of people responding to this, I know that this is just my own theory. I was just putting it out there, because that is what I do. So you do not need to bombard me with animosity if you do not agree or have proof to the contrary. :)

My first time watching. I've had access to "MI:DR" for months on various subscription services but I'm glad I waited until now. I only know what I saw in the pre-release trailers and purposely didn't read any reviews or watch any behind-the-scenes vids. Thank you, Addie!

It's good to see that Tom Cruise appreciates what edited YouTube reactions can do for a movie. It's free advertising. Paramount wouldn't dare give them a copyright strike after an invitation to the premiere from Cruise and the director and meeting them both. I almost started a reaction channel myself after seeing that. lol

Well Done for catching up with Mission Impossible and sharing all your experiences. I was in denial and hoped Ilsa would return in Part 2. But at the same time, movies needs stakes to move the story forward. But I had a feeling she would go since Hayley joined. The AI villain added something new, genius and creepy to the series. The Submarine scene took me by surprise.

This was a fun one, it almost felt like a riff on the Lord of the Rings with The Entity as Sauron, the key as the Ring, the submarine as Mount Doom, and Tom Cruise as Bilbo (except he really had to work to get the McGuffin, it wasn't just handed to him.) 😄 Also can someone get Pom Klementieff (aka Paris, aka Mantis) her own action movie please? She's clearly got the chops for it!

Haley Atwell does a podcast with Vanessa Kirby called "True Spies." I think Daisy Ridley is on it too. I've been meaning to listen to it, but haven't got around to it. Those Double Toasted and Gourley and Rust pods are super long which prevents me from getting around to it. I'll have to make an effort this week.
