Happy Wednesday, Addie. Let another Fallout begin. But this is Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018). As an IMAX fan, my favorite scenes were the HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jump and the helicopter pursuit because those scenes looked very intense in IMAX because the aspect ratio opens up for both scenes. See you soon for Dead Reckoning (2023).

Hey Addie, guess what. Tom Cruise is now just as old as Ian McKellan was when he did Lord of The Rings. Also Tom Cruise is the first actor in Hollywood history to "Halo Jump" for a film. From several miles up in high atmosphere. He also actually flew the helicopter in the chase scenes for this film. All while being close to the age of Gandalf while filming this. One last thing. Its cool that you get to see Henry Cavill who Is Antagonist here. Everybody knows him as "The man of Steel" Superman so to see him in a Villian role was cool. Do you plan on watching the Snyderverse movies? you will get to see him play one of the best super hero roles ever.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 Excited to continue on with the "Mission Impossible" movie series today. This one does have a great cast in it. For more Henry Cavill, I highly recommend the 2002 "The Count of Monte Cristo" and the 2007 "Stardust". Definitely looking forward to watching this one later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Speaking of Henry Cavill, I also suggest The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024), produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Guy Ritchie. #TheMinistryOfUngentlemanlyWarfareForAddieCounts

Hi Addie, 'Fallout' is one of the greatest action films in the past decade. I'm happy that you got to be introduced to the one and only Henry Cavill. I'm a fanboy. He is Superman. Yes, the helicopter sequence is all real. Tom Cruise trained for his pilot's license for a full year, day and night to prepare for this specific stunt. Its all him, piloting, acting, and being his own camera operator. Everyone was nervous because it was TOO dangerous and anything could go wrong.

Even though Ghost Protocol is my favorite, this one is amazing. Henry Cavil was so good in this, and played that cold killer so very well. p.s. It is not a John Wick movie... it is a John Lark movie. :P

If you look up this movie and Tom Cruise injury, you should find videos showing how he broke his ankle jumping from one building to another, you can even see him limp off camera after the jump, because they kept it in the movie. They of course had to take a break from filming while he healed. :D

Julian San

Just like with Tom Cruise, I can always count on Addie to do her own stunts in her reaction videos.

For the longest time, my favorite Mission: Impossible film was the first one (Brian De Palma's sense of aesthetics and tone just gets me); but when I saw Fallout in the theater, I was beside myself. This movie is insaaaaaaaane! As soon as I heard Vanessa Kirby speak, and saw her facial expressions, I knew she was somehow related to Max. Her performance in this is so good! I love that McQuarrie wants to bring back legacy actors and legacy characters for this series. He's a fan as much as we are.

I do not know about anyone else, but if I were in Ethans position at the end, I would have held on to that key and remote, and you would have to pry them from my cold dead hands.

Byrd N. Hand

If she's going to watch any more DC superhero movies, I'd rather she watch the first 2 Christopher Reeve "Superman" movies and Tim Burton's 2 "Batman" movies first.

Alex Tan

She just needs to watch Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Ultimate Edition (2016) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). #SnyderVerseForAddieCounts

Thats MR. Baldamort

I always find it funny when I see people request a movie and somebody is like "you need to see these 10 other movies first!" like, no you don't. I'd rather Addie watch the new stuff first then go back and watch the classics later. None of them are connected to the snyderverse.

The first clue that Walker is Lark is on the plane when Ethan is showing him the mask printer. Ethan scans Walker while saying he’ll scan Lark and assume his identity. It’s a very clever movie, you can definitely tell McQuarrie wrote The Usual Suspects. The bit where the truck gets wedged feels like a reference to Man From UNCLE where Henry Cavill wedges a vehicle in a narrow alley as part of an escape.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Of EVERYONE ive seen, reactors and friends, and family, watch this movie, you were the only one, with 100% confidence, to guess one of the biggest plot twists in cinema like it was just a casual Monday of plot twists, you knew who Lark was, and you knew that Benji was the one acting as Solomon in the mask.

Hi Addie, just joined your Patreon officially and this was my first full length reaction with you. This is my favorite in the series, and you had a great reaction! One film suggestion I have that's sort of out of the blue is a critically underappreciated film called "Frequency." I know you probably have a ton on your plate, but just wanted to throw it out there. Great father/son story wrapped up in a murder mystery. Take care!

DazzNovaNature

Fallout is my favorite Mission Impossible film, Thanks for the brilliant reaction. I can't believe you figured out the twist. I thought maybe he was bad because of the trailers, but in the film he seemed good and cool. I had no worries if he was bad except for the phone scene. But I never once thought he was lark until the fake Lane scene. This film got me.

Byrd N. Hand

To me, watching the 'new stuff' first tends to imply that, '[The older movies are] from before I was born, so who gives a fuck?' Not to mention a lot of people seem to think the so-called DCU is generally crap, whereas lots of people tend to think the aforementioned movies have held up better. 🙄

Thats MR. Baldamort

A lot of people isnt most people, a lot of people hate lord of the rings too. Every SINGLE REACTOR that has watched them, loved the DCU and so did the viewers. So stop trying to gatekeep for addie, its annoying. Addie has watched FAR WORSE like grade A trash for the channel and loved it, and the DCU is far from that.

Byrd N. Hand

I never discouraged her from watching those movies (though I admittedly don't care about them at all); just that she should go with the more time-tested ones I mentioned first. You want to see *real* franchise gatekeeping, look no further than the "Terminator," "Alien," and "Godfather" series, where some people will practically freak out if a reactor goes beyond the second movie in any of those franchises. 🤷‍♂️ And, yes, I'm aware Addie has watched some real clunkers for the channel (most of Disney Star Wars, a lot of the post-Phase 3 MCU stuff, the last 2 X-Men movies, "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," and now "Fantastic Four" immediately come to mind). But she's watched *a ton* of action stuff (sci-fi action in the case of the POTA movies) over the last couple months, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here who wouldn't mind a break from it for a while...
