Here's the full length reaction to The Bourne Identity! It was fun to see Matt Damon as a lead in an action movie, and I feel like there's still so much more to learn about his past! Enjoy!

Walton Goggins is in a lot of films, but always just a background character or a supportive roll. I had no idea he was in this movie for the brief time until you pointed him out lol. Im glad he got a main roll in Fallout.

With the Bourne movies I can count on is fast paced action, an intense car chase, and "Extreme Ways"

The movie is based on three books but the plot in the books is different from the movies.

Thanks for an enthusiastic reaction! The assassin at the cottage was played by Clive Owen - best known for "Children of Men" (2006). He gave a late night talk show interview just a few years ago and admitted to the host that what he considers to be the high point of his acting career is... his single appearance on season 10 episode 5 of Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (2020). Another film that has an espionage theme with the protagonist trying to figure out why people are trying to kill him is "Three Days of the Condor" (1975), starring Robert Redford, based on the best seller, "Six Days of the Condor". I guess the movie ran short on time.

Owen would've been a great James Bond. Unfortunately, he's too old for the role now.

I consider this one of the best of the Bourne films, but that opinion is a relative minority since others say they get better and better after this. I love the slow pace to it. The steady, methodical movements Jason makes, which helps sell everything as "realistic". It's not, but they SELL it. I could more easily accept this as "real life" than almost any other action movie out there. Watching you spin theories at the end is half the fun of watching any reaction. Some are closer than you might think, some are way off base, but that's what helps me recapture the feeling of watching something for the first time.
