Day One (Patreon)

Good morning! This is Jeremy. Right now it is 5:57am and I've been up since about 4:30. Mostly because, as you might know from the podcast, I'm old as hell and this is what happens to dudes when they get old. Also: my dogs are terrible. 

Since I've been up since 4:30am, I've had a lot of time to think, answer @s and DMs on the MOTW twitter, and welcome new folks to the Discord. I've also been thinking: holy shit this is real. After over a month of thinking about launching this thing, having close friends and family read over it, and stressing out about it: it's out there, in the world. 

Better: it's going very well. After only a day, we're almost at our first goal!

So, what's next? Well, I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks getting organized. For those of you at the $2 and above tier, I'll be going back through the archives and pulling out all the outtakes from our S1 episodes. Those will go up in a Google Drive folder, and once I'm done I'll give all of you access to it so you can listen or download as you please. As the months go on, I'll slowly but surely add the rest of the outtakes to our #HunkChunk library. 

For those of you at the $5 and above tier, Chris is going to make some cool art and email it to you. Knowing Chris, he'll want a little time, so I would probably expect this toward the middle or end of each month. We'll make the list up at the beginning of each month, after the Patreon charges go through. 

Since we're very close to reaching our Early Access feed goal, I'll be getting all of that setup and working for those of you at the $10 tier. If it happens this month, you can expect it to roll out early next month. That gives us enough time to (1) make sure everything works on a technical level and (2) get a bit of a lead time on episodes. 

For you $20 and above people, make sure your address is correct and up to date in your Patreon profile, and expect something cool in the mail later this month. 

As for continual updates, I would expect to see a post from us once or twice a week. I want to walk the fine line between keeping everyone up to date on what we're doing but not blowing up your inbox to the point that you don't even read these things. If you have questions, comments, or concerns, the quickest way to reach us is on Twitter or email. Posting to Patreon is fine, but the mobile Patreon app is quirky and I can't figure out how to see/respond to posts properly.
