As I moved through this series, Dou Dou being the same age as the years that Wu Bi's mom has been dead and the connection they have is very significant. Its like she embodies her spirit. Maybe I'm reaching but we have a saying when children that are precocious as Duo, "they've been here before". I guess because I read the source material and saw Addicted Heroin, following the story was not confusing to me. When Su Yi said he hit Wu Bi for himself, he meant, he realized he cared more about Wu Bi liking her than the other way around because he had feelings for Wu Bi. This is a very deep show in my opinion. And the way the had to move around the censors to get it's point across (BL) and the language/cultural barriers can make it confusing. Keep up the reactions!

I do like how deep the connection is feeling, a lot of BLs try to replicate it by putting some sort of ‘they knew each other in the past so they were fated’ vibe but this feels more natural - E. (Hope you got the link to the song as well.)
