I enjoyed more time with these characters, especially without people treating hira like trash for half the season. I really enjoyed watching them continue to figure out how to be together. Do we think the creepy stalker/fan of kiyoi's costar (i forget her name oop) will show up again in the movie as a threat to kiyoi? because otherwise im confused why they included him at all, especially the menacing staring at the two of them walking together.

I think the reason they had that comparison was to show how different types of idol worshipping can be played out. Hira is obsessed but is not possessive in the same way the other fan was, maybe just to diffuse the toxicity of how the couple can read? I wonder what the movie will be about but I’m thinking if it’ll be a few years later because it does feel like it sets them up for that situation to be eventually married and meet the family like in Cherry Magic ❤️❤️
