I literally know a shitty manager like this at my workplace. Belittling subordinates and playing a lot of workplace politics. Luckily he's not my manager (hopefully he'll never be). I felt the usual feeling of stabbing those characters in the neck and burning them. The way I felt back in ep 2 and 3. No classic KBL is complete without absolutely shitty people written into the story as conflict characters. 😤

I agree with you, Edison. It was too wholesome. I think this series probably had a proper episode 8 with a bit of "intimacy", a scene with the director's mother meeting the new employee, and other relationship drama. Or else there's no reason to introduce her in ep 6 and not go anywhere with the character. The YouTube video they make is also kind of pointless with no consequences. I remember seeing the total episode number as 8 on my series tracker app and on mydramalist when this started. They probably cut all that down. The couple moments died in the "finale" episode. It felt less like a BL and more like an uplifting short movie about newbie workers. Very anticlimactic.
