You (Robin) are fond of folk horror. Are there any countries, cultures, religions, etc which you think are untapped or which you want to see more from? What is your favorite horror cliche/ trope? Can all films be (reasonably) categorized by genre or are there some which are truly unclassifiable? It is said by some that David Lynch has never directed a true horror movie; agree or disagree? (Assuming you’ve seen enough Lynch works) Are there any non-horror movies which you find have a better grasp on the idea of horror than many actual examples of the genre? (For the purposes of this, lets focus on fiction rather than things based off real world events.) (And my answer to my own question would be The Secret of NIMH, which has a very heavy focus on fear. And having John Carradine didn’t hurt.) Just admit it, you tried Raccoon Valley (2018) and couldn’t get past the interminable pacing could you? (And I admit this was just my gambit to make sure you saw my recommendation for it.) Since you’re among friends, can you tell us which popular actors/ directors you think need to consider another career? Are there any film reviews or opinions which you consider wrong? Not bad, but wrong. Choose however many of these you want. Whoever’s answering may benefit from a little time to think since the answers may not be immediately obvious.

Have there been any films that were just so bad, so awful that you just couldn't sit through them for the review? What do you find most off-putting; boring, stupid, overly gorey, indecipherable plot... what? Would you consider doing a special on films that have trailers (on YouTube, for example) but have either never been released (Angels in Notting Hill) or can't be found in the original English without overdubbing / narration (The Girl from Nagasaki)? You've reviewed a lot of bad films over the past decade or so, do you have a short list of the absolute bottom of the barrel? Everyone has to make some bad films in their career, what are some of the worst clunkers that some of the best actors have been in? Some fine performers end up in bad films because they need the work; who has done something awful without the excuse of needing the money?

What do you think of 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' (2001)? I've just recently viewed it and whilst it is'nt a 'bad movie', it does have a lot of tropes that match your usual criteria, werewolf, gore, mystery, nudity even martial arts. I'm curious to know also if you've seen La Cabina (The Telephone Box) 1972.
