Our next classic franchise will be The Universal Invisible Man, released next month to coincide with the new film. After that we haven't decided, so we're throwing it open to you to vote on what should be our next franchise special, which will probably come out in late summer.
As we've said before, we do plan to work our way through all the Universal and Hammer series but we've thrown something new into the mix with the Val Lewton RKO horrors (11 films including Cat People and I Walked with a Zombie).
The Universal Wolfman will probably also follow the career of Lon Chaney jr, (in the same way that the Hammer Dracula looked at Christopher Lee) but it will still include The Werewolf of London and potentially She-Wolf of London.
The Universal Dracula  will probably focus on Lugosi, even though he only appeared in two films film (we will look at The Return of the Vampire as well), dealing with the iconography of Dracula that he created as well as looking at the sequels.
We definitely want to do the Hammer Mummy films but I couldn't tell you yet what approach we'll take because they are four stand-alone films. One thing I'm considering is spending some time on the people behind the scenes (mainly because I got the excellent Hammer Films: The Unsung Heroes for Christmas). The Mummy films might be a way to look at Hammer's amazing team.
So those are your options. Choose wisely - you're deciding what I spend the next 6 months doing!

Forgot to say; you have one week in which to vote.

All good. I've gone for Lewton because there are some minor but very good films in there such as Ghost Ship that I think people will enjoy discovering.

Awesome

Nice! I love Val Lewton! "The Seventh Victim" is one of my favorite movies. (I'd be happy with any/all of these franchises, though.)

It’s going to be very interesting to get your perspective on Lewton and company.

I missed the 2019 vote for the Dracula review; guess I was off gathering rosebuds or something, so I made sure that I didn't miss this one. All of the suggestions sound good, but I got the Unsung Heroes book too and would love to see what you can do working that angle.

I just thought that Chaney deserves a look (maybe I just feel sorry for him - he deserves some dignity) and I've already been saturated with "Dracula". However, Val Lewton has made some excellent films, so I'm not opposed to that, either.

I can't vote at my level, I guess, but add one more vote for the Val Lewton films. I'd really love to know more about his work, and your historicals are always fascinating. Then, we can concentrate on Chaney. :-)
