Summary: When up and coming director Alistair Bailey is fired from a project by notorious VHS distributor William King, he believes that his footage has been left in the trash can. He soon discovers however that King tricked him and is planning to globally sell the movie that he spent ages working on. As the lust for revenge strengthens, Bailey decides to don the same disguise as the one used by his antagonist and make a new feature. Only this time, the effects will be real.

Review: Bloodstream - UNCUT

This film reminds me of some of the "soul-less gore" that permeated films by Herschell Gordon Lewis. They have their place in the evolution of the horror genre but did little to advance it.

Body parts, gore & barf bags... Not my wheelhouse, but this is so bad that it is, as Robin says, not scary. BUT setting fire to the dog is going too far; that's exactly the kind of animal cruelty that sick people in our society actually do. Kill the humans any way that you want, but don't torture animals, even by suggestion or off-screen.

Now who picked this one? He’s got a bad taste in movies, that’s for sure! ;) But yeah, hated the dog scene. Otherwise, ridiculous film. Though I suspect the director thought he was making something with an important message with all that horror films make you a psycho thing while making a horror film about a guy who watches too many films and becomes a psycho.
