To save us some money whilst broadening our choice of film we've started buying box sets of cult movies. I just go through the list of films and pick on the ones that have cool titles or an interesting synopsis. I was really looking forward to Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold, and to be honest, it has not lived up to my best expectations. Obviously I wasn't expecting good but it's made for a very difficult review because there's too much to say and I don't like it when I end up going 'Well that acting is shite, and the tone is inconsistent, the hero arrives late and it's trying to be Indiana Jones for some reason...' and so on. The other problem is that its biggest issue is structure, which is very hard to get across in a short review or to make funny. I've got to watch it again to do a second draft so I'll try to hone it into a more focused review. At least the climax is utterly ridiculous.

That moment when you realize you’re watching a movie made by someone who couldn’t successfully construct a credible sandwich.
