I don’t have the same interest level as you do in silent films, but your passion for it does make me want to look further into them, so mission accomplished. If you can, go through the older episodes of Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast. He’s a gigantic fan of Lon Chaney Jr, which sometimes leads into discussion of Lon Sr, as well as just a huge fan of horror and Old Hollywood in general.

Well, you sold two books today; I've ordered copies of the Griffith/Biograph Years and “Silent Women.” I don’t think I could trust someone who pretends to know about movies but doesn’t own a copy of “The Parade’s Gone By.” Have you ever read David A. Yallop’s “The Day the Laughter Stopped” about the Fatty Arbuckle Scandal?
