I personally think you should add him in. Cause it would give more appeal and detail to the pic, and the way you sketched Melman looks really good and would fit for the scenario going on. I say go for it! Plus, it will be easier to see who is saying that dialogue if they are included in the pic. So yeah, you totally should draw Melman in it.
