Mid-ish January Update (Patreon)

Hi pals,

My holiday (if you can call it a holiday, haha) is almost over, so I just thought I'd keep you updated with everything happening in the world of Swords:

- Our production timeline for Swords: Cut the Deck is locked in
I've got a couple of weeks to review various bits and pieces, but we're currently in the process of submitting the playmat, the dice, tokens and (I think) the box art for production. We've been very busy and we're learning a lot.
Preorders are still open on Backerkit, with a few Kargob editions remaining (there will be 1500 total).
 

- Second half of the Patron tournament sometime soon
Cut the Deck needs to get done first, but we're close so I can get back to the Patron tournament after that. We're still short 1 or 2 members, so if you are a Royal Tier supporter there is a post offering you a spot here.

- Other Storylines in 2024
I plan to focus on Durengal's storyline, finishing Quest Sprout's current storyline and also expand more on The Monster Magician. I was going to introduce something new, but I've decided to hold off until Swords episode 1000 next year.

- There are spare Quest Sprout vinyl figures
Makeship made spare stock of the Quest Sprout vinyl figure, you can order one here (there will be 1000 total). They're shipping soon, I think!

- 6th Anniversary of the series on March 5th
It's gonna be a special day for a Kargob worshipper! I've got something planned, but I'm not sure we'll have it ready in time. Stay tuned.

- A Small Qwest
I'm currently on a mission to reach page one of Webtoon search results. It's going to require 800,000 more Likes which would take about 1000 people pitching in by re-reading the series. I've also renamed the series from "Swords" to "SWORDS: The Webcomic" to raise its visibility in search. Anything I can do to make the series easier to find on Canavs, I'm trying my best to do.

- New Years Resolutions
Drink more water! But mostly I want to make it easier to make better decisions, in general. I'll drink less soda if there's more cold water in the fridge, that sort of thing.
I'd love to have a proper holiday in Japan if I have any money left over by the time the card game ships. We'll see!

- More Patreon Updates
I'm probably going to revisit my rewards in March, for the 6th anniversary; and make sure you guys are getting the kind of content you want. Reaching around 1100 patrons would get me pretty close to the New Zealand minimum wage, which has always been the goal so it's nice that we're getting closer.
Normally this is the sort of thing I would review in January, but I'm too busy with all of the above.

- Sticker Club
The next Sticker Club letter will go out in February. I sent all the basic ones I had addresses for pre-Christmas; but I haven't sent Royal Tier members a Kargob pin yet - I'll do that sometime soon when I return to my office. I'll send a reminder closer to the time to update your address details on Patreon.
If you didn't get the first wave of stickers pre-Christmas, I'll add the last batch into the next letter as well.
