Some Things On My Mind (Patreon)

Hark adventurers,

I haven't done an update in a little while! Let's keep it brief:

• 1600 Free Members on Patreon! Let's aim for 2000 next and I'll add some more free content

• 850 Paid Members! As discussed previously, I'll kick off a Beach story arc at 1000, because it's fun and a little different.

• I'll be starting the second half of the Patreon Swor'nament later than I planned to. Sorry but money is tight at the moment so I can't dedicate a three-week period to it until things are more stable.

• I'm late with Sticker Club deliveries because I've been busy doing my taxes. Sorry about that. I will send them as soon as that's out of the way.

• I've got a quote for more Enamel Pin designs, so I'll pull the trigger on that soon too.

• I've been getting prototypes done for some wooden punchout DnD figures of Quest Sprout, Granny and the Fungeon Clown - I'm quite happy with them so I might do a small run of those soon too.

• Swords has Reward Ads on Webtoon now! Get the latest episode a few days early by watching an ad (it's also up already for Patrons)

• I've agreed to be one of the flagship titles for a new webcomic platform - more on that when I can share it.

• 87 Quest Sprout Vinyl Figures left on Makeship!

• I've teased the next Makeship collab over on the Discord server (to Patrons). Thanks for your thoughts! We're now waiting on the updated prototype that addresses your feedback.

• If you're in New Zealand, I have 5 Rapier Tapir plushies available for $50 NZD each, plus shipping.

• 300 Kargob Editions left to preorder of Swords: Cut the Deck!

• The Threadless Sale got extended if you like shirts and stickers and things

• As much as I'd love to head back to Kickstarter and start the next project, we better focus on shipping the card game first. It's all paid for and with the manufacturer, so now we're waiting on whatever they need from us next. I'd rather not speculate on a release date until a few more things are confirmed.

• Work on the Swords video game is on hiatus for the moment while we take care of more urgent stuff.

• I might have a new prototype of Merciless Dungeon you can play in a few weeks.

• Patreon is currently $130/month away from the New Zealand minimum wage! After 6 years of making comics, that would be a really awesome threshold to cross.

• April Fools is soon! Don't trust anything I say. I always go by New Zealand timezones to begin my tapestry of lies.

• I'll be doing a Swordtember prompt list this year. Since I'm currently on a slower release schedule of 1 episode a week, I'll have to do Swordtember if I hope to hit 100 episodes in Season 7 (which I broadly consider the minimum). But who knows what will happen?

• I already know what happens in Swords Episode 1000, which I estimate will release around the end of 2025. It'll be... pure chaos...
