Goodness, I'm really happy with how this came out! Experimenting with a new method of coloring after studying some professional comic colorists' work, and I'm really liking the results! Mostly just comes down to coloring everything on one layer, choosing colors deliberately and not relying on blending modes (aside from a bit of glowy effects). It's been so rewarding and not as much of a headache as it is when I'm juggling a mountain of layers doing their own thing to output colors that hopefully are harmonious. Instead I can just skip to the end and start with the colors I want, which is not something I could have pulled off a year ago.
