I'm on time, youhou!

Well, it's very late and I'm working tomorrow so I don't have much to add... Except maybe that I've changed chapter 209. I've added the following lines (just before the end of the chapter.)

After those lines, the 211!

By the way, the discord if you have any questions!

Chap 209, Laepa's POV.

Laepa watched the duel unfold, drumming her fingers on the table. She was both eager for it to end and apprehensive. Eager because the Auctions were a priority: some members of her clan lay comatose, awaiting a remedy for advanced necro corruption. After a certain stage, even [Necro Resistance] was futile against the overpowering Concept.

She was also worried because the Champion hoplite—Kazuki—was too proud. Eleha “Smiling Blades” was adored by the youth for her camaraderie and cultivated the image of a noble, smiling warrior.

But that was a façade. Laepa was of her generation and had seen that smiling mask crack many times over fifty years. Eleha was a sociopath craving adulation. If she couldn't have it, she settled for fear.

It was clear that Kazuki would feel neither, and this would enrage Tier 3. Laepa hoped Eleha wouldn't let her madness destroy any chance of dialogue between tribes and hoplites.

Personally, Laepa hoped the warrior would survive. In a few years, the lance prodigy would be a formidable ally. She knew better fighters, some even having unlocked Spear Mastery III, but they were Tier 3s. Kazuki was a mere Tier 0, his soul not yet baptized, yet so close to Spear Mastery II. His raw talent for the lance was terrifying. For now, he was weak—Eleha toyed with him, using neither skill nor Concepts nor Supremacies—but that would change if he lived.

That didn't mean he was the best Tier 0 Laepa knew. The young Chief of the Aelbes was more powerful, but he hadn't trained for two months. The Aelbe had chosen to ignore [Ace]'s improvement to spend two decades at Tier 0 and attempt mythical Achievements. It was dangerous, but all paths led to the Zenith.

You just had to stay alive.

Laepa wondered if she should intervene to end the fight. It would offend Kazuki and Eleha's honor, but she could certainly use the Auctions, which was most important. In the long run, the consequences would be dire: Kazuki and the hoplites would have a poor opinion of Aelbes and Gaeserts. Vysharratjekto—the snake!—had understood this before her, and his friendly façade would undoubtedly grant him privileged access to the Auctions. It was bad news because the Snaherts were enemies of the Gaeserts.

Was it an arbitrary decision or did the Snaherts plan to court the Champions?

The thought made Laepa grimace. It would be terrible if the other Champions heard about this and allied with the Snaherts. Not immediately, as they were still very weak, but they had potential. A lot of potential. The Aelbes would certainly seek to eliminate the future threat, but that was not the Gaeserts' way.

Why is it up to me to play politics? I'm mainly good at cutting monsters, the huntress sighed mentally.

"Your husband fights well," she declared in a pathetic attempt to bury the hatchet.

Hyshana turned to her, a proud gleam in her eye. "He always has. Brave in the face of death, refusing to bend to tyranny."

Laepa hid a grimace. This was not going well.

"I could heal him after the fight," Gabrielle offered. "I'm sorry the discussion has degenerated like this. We Gaeserts try to be fair in our actions, but our brothers and sisters are in mortal danger here."

Laepa smiled upon hearing Gabrielle and decided to entrust her with the diplomatic side of the mission.

"... That's something I can understand," Hyshana responded after a few seconds of pause. "But the Auctions don't depend on us."

"Then we'll wait for Priam as long as possible," placated Gabrielle.

Laepa glanced at Hyshana. The Tier 0 was just as proud as her husband. If he died, she would fight in turn—even facing certain death. The Hoplites seemed to possess advanced technology, and even though the tribes were now deprived of it, some texts described the miracles of a technological civilization.

Explosives were surely ready to destroy the area, and while Laepa was fairly certain she could survive, Gabrielle would die. Moreover, atomic explosions were famous for attracting powerful monsters as they emitted some sort of interesting pollution. Which would be a disaster...

Suddenly, Kazuki and Eleha parted ways. A few seconds later, the hoplite pulled out a sphere, and Laepa swore as she identified it.

“Fuck!”

[He Who Eludes Death] allowed Priam to wait up to half an hour before resurrecting. A time during which his soul was disconnected from reality. This period of invincibility was sometimes helpful to him.

Today, he chose to resurrect a second after his death.

A few flames flickered as Priam regained consciousness. Reunited with his Concept, he used the perception of fire to perceive the world.

The combination of his Breath and Pyro had created a pyrotechnic tower that assaulted the sky. At the center of the blast, a sphere of authority pushed back the flames, creating a blind spot for his fire sense. Priam materialized one of his eyes to obtain a visual signal.

With her body greatly burned, breathing difficulty and tortured by the infernal heat, Eleha did not look proud. Her feline form seemed to suffer from multiple fractures, and her right front paw had been torn off at the shoulder. She must have managed to turn at the last moment, absorbing the majority of the explosion with her former limb.

Focusing, Priam perceived some bone fragments, fur tufts, and blood drops carried by the firestorm. He had seriously injured his opponent, but she was far from dead. Too bad.

Growling, Eleha began to rise, using her Domain to protect herself from Pyro. She looked around before transforming back into humanoid form. Nude and bloody, she began to hobble away from the inferno.

A few meters away, Priam spotted Kazuki. He had activated his temporary invincibility to escape the explosion but was not out of danger. Obviously, Eleha intended to finish the job. Over my dead body.

In a fraction of a second, Priam became aware of everything around him. Kazuki, the Forum, the ambient aether that belonged to him, the immense pillar of fire at his disposal and Eleha, alone and wounded. He saw a possibility. Perhaps it was time to seek out a new Achievement.

Flexing his Fire Concept, Priam drew the flames to him. The cloud of fire stopped its expansion before compressing rapidly. A colossal amount of thermal energy rushed toward him as he connected to his Potential. It was not the time to conserve resources.

POT -50

Reforming his body at the edge of Eleha's Domain, Priam summoned Promesse in his right hand and two wings of fire on his back. As the burning gases finished condensing around him, forming a miniature nova, he activated [Kinetic Control].

In an instant, all the thermal energy created by his suicide attack was absorbed as kinetic energy. The amount of energy passing through his meridians caused their destruction, and his second set—the blood network activated by [Bloodless]—took over. All combustion ceased, and the incandescent air disappeared to reveal Priam, naked and angry.

If he had not been a Fire Champion, if the flames had not originated from him, and if he had not used Potential, it would have been unimaginable. However, these improbable conditions were met, and Priam achieved the impossible. Feeling the kinetic ocean churning within him, he understood it was worth it.

Deploying [Aether Manipulation] and aided by his Potential, Priam took control of the aether he had condensed with his Breath. He did not intend to waste any resources. Using his formidable will, he gathered the primordial fluid into a sphere that he placed at the tip of Promesse.

Noticing the disappearance of the infernal column, Eleha froze before starting to turn in his direction.

Before she could establish a defense, Priam overloaded his wings and dashed forward. The phoenix skill almost teleported him, preventing the Tier 3's Domain from stopping him before he was in close combat.

Guided by Spear Mastery and his Potential, Priam channeled the first skill the phoenix had taught him. [Tribulation: Piercing Spear].

Mobilizing all his vivacity and the help of his System, Priam began to weave a drill around Promesse’s tip with the aether from his Breath. In a fraction of a second, aided by his Potential, skill, and new aether proficiency, he finished preparing the skill. Conquest Aura and Spear Mastery resonated, adding a piercing quality to the drill.

Priam looked up at Eleha. Rage distorted the Tier 3's face. A wave ran through her body, which suddenly accelerated to put itself on guard. With her last arm, Eleha slashed, cutting through the air. A white halo covered the dagger, promising death. If he were hit, Priam would die. He had to flee, he had to plead, he had to…

"FUCK YOU!" he yelled as [True Will] and [Aura Resistance] broke the mental constraint.

Guided by Spear Mastery and his spear skills, Priam thrust. The shining drill surrounding Promesse like a sheath collided with Eleha's dagger. The rare skill should have exploded upon contact with the opponent's Mastery, but the colossal amount of aether it possessed allowed it to hold its ground.

In a moment of hesitation, the two attacks balanced each other out, neither able to gain the upper hand. Drawing from his kinetic reserves, Priam opened the valves. Eleha's eyes widened as an impossible force invaded Promesse.

Just as the spear was about to crush the Tier 3, an authority descended, freezing reality. Eleha's Domain pressurized Priam, hindering the activation of [Kinetic Control] and weakening his attack.

Another Tier 0 would have lost consciousness under the insurmountable oppression, but Priam had pissed on a divine statue without passing out. Refusing to bow, he activated his trump card.

His mind split in two, and one part called the Tribulation affinity hiding in his draconic heart. The organ pulsed, sending an imperative order to his eyes.

An invisible shadow eclipsed Priam's pupils. As Hecate New Moon awakened, the world was stripped of its colors. Plunged into a monochrome nightmare, Eleha lost control of her aether, and her Supremacy faltered.

Charged with a tremendous amount of energy, Promesse moved forward, unstoppable. Priam’s entire blood network exploded, and only the simultaneous activation of [Three-Headed Hydra] allowed him to survive.

Ideal upgrade available for [Erosion Resistance - Rare]...

Title upgraded!...

The spear shattered the dagger, broke the sound barrier, and annihilated Eleha's arm in a gory explosion. Guided by Priam's rage, Promesse continued toward the Tier 3's heart.

Seeing death approach, Eleha snarled. Her eyes split, and she disappeared.

Charged with phenomenal energy, Promesse left Priam's hands and continued its trajectory, passing through Oasis and its border. Less than a second later, the weapon struck a cliff two kilometers away. Part of the mountain exploded.

Priam turned around. Behind him, hate burning in her eyes and without her arms, Eleha gritted her teeth. I wonder if [Armless] exists…

As if she had heard his thought, Eleha screamed.

*

Vysharratjekto watched the battle unfold with fervor. He had come close to bursting into laughter several times, but he valued his reputation too much for that. Even if it'll never sink as low as Eleha's, he smirked.

The warrior's arrogance had cost her dearly. After being spewed with titan blood in the eye, she had her hand burned by a surprise attack. The rest of the fight had been even more brutal, and Eleha struggled to finish it without her skills.

Honestly, both Tier 0s were exceptional. While the first fighter was a prodigy with the spear, Vysharratjekto found the second more intriguing. Versatile and possessing a draconic bloodline, he had limitless potential. Even his description, Death's Obsession, was fascinating.

The rest of the fight proved him right. Despite her injuries, Eleha had made it a point not to use her skills. As a result, when the hoplite reached the half-step of Spear Mastery II, he injured her. The wound wasn't severe—some minutes of focused regeneration with Micro III would make it disappear—but it wasn't superficial either.

At that moment, Eleha must have realized she had underestimated the Tier 0s. It came a bit too late, and she didn't have time to protect herself from Priam's fiery embrace. Was it a simple mistake? Vysharratjekto's draconic intuition told him that Priam had manipulated Eleha's instincts—as impossible as it seemed.

Seeing the pseudo-suicide, Vysharratjekto jumped up in fear. The Champion possessed a different draconic bloodline than the Snaherts. If it could be cultivated, it would strengthen the entire clan. He had to live!

The Tier 3 had vainly searched for a trace of his soul within the explosion. When he found it a second later, his joy turned to astonishment. It was impossible! Had he been dreaming? But no, the soul had vanished, destroyed by the explosion.

And yet, there Priam was, in full form and even more powerful than before. Vysharratjekto's breathing quickened. There was only one explanation: Priam Azura had sacrificed his soul and had resurrected with a Phoenix Nirvana.

Was it luck? Or perhaps...

"He—" Viktol began upon seeing the Tier 3 standing.

"Silence!" Vysharratjekto commanded, focusing on the fight.

Instead of ending the fight, the Champion capitalized on his previous attack to create an even more terrifying new assault. Vysharratjekto would have dodged the thrust, but Eleha chose to tank it. The Tier 3 had been humiliated by two Tier 0s, and her misplaced honor prevented her from fleeing. She employed an acceleration skill and Dagger Mastery III. Wasting her mental energy like this against an opponent was stupid, but Vysharratjekto didn't expect any better from Eleha.

Against all expectations, Priam matched the power of the attack by stacking different skills and Supremacies. Well tried, but useless.

Vysharratjekto was not surprised when Eleha triggered Domain II to neutralize all resistance. Powered by a Tier 3 soul, Supremacies and Concepts became absolutely terrifying.

As Vysharratjekto prepared to save Priam, the world lost its colors.

A wave of primal terror briefly engulfed the Tier 3. Was it a skill based on the Necromoon? No, it's different...

Pushing aside the sensation, he cursed upon seeing Eleha's Supremacies collapse. The attack severed Eleha's second arm, and the Tier 3 used her Concept to avoid a stupid death. Even a stupid cat counted her lives.

Laepa leaped forward, and Vysharratjekto followed suit. It was time to make a good impression.

*

As Priam prepared for another assault, two strangers appeared by Eleha's side. Ignoring the pain caused by the Moon shining in his eyes, he eyed the newcomers.

"A Tier 3 against two Tier 0s isn’t enough? You need the numbers advantage too?" he growled, conjuring up a mantle of mist. [He Who Eludes Death] was on cooldown, and he had no safety net left, but Priam refused to be intimidated. He wasn't too proud to back down, but the promise of violence in Eleha's eyes confirmed it wouldn't help him here.

Before anyone could respond, the catwoman dashed toward Priam, screaming. Despite her lack of arms, burned torso, and the monochrome domain, her speed remained impressive. As he prepared for the impact, the human-looking young woman snatched Eleha out of the air and slammed her to the ground with disconcerting ease. In a fluid motion, she kneeled on Eleha's throat. Struggling to breathe, the dominated woman stopped screaming.

"Sorry, she's an embarrassment," the lithe woman apologized in flawless French. At Priam's surprised look, she gestured to the Menhir of Secrets. "I bought your language."

"... I suppose you're not here to continue the fight?"

"Indeed. We're from three different tribes, and our alliance is temporary. I have no fondness for Eleha, but this fight is a trap," informed the man with drawn features and scaly skin. "Her cat totem has multiple lives, and even if you manage to kill her, her great uncle is a Tier 4."

"... I guess that's it for today then," grumbled Priam. He eyed Eleha, swearing to get revenge. "Who are you?"

"I am Vysharratjekto, from the Snaherts tribe."

"Laepa, from the Gaeserts."

"...Priam, Oasis's Lord and Champion of humanity. What do you want from me?"

The tone was rough, but Priam was annoyed. Leaving his retreat, he had seen his friend get beaten up by an unknown Tier 3. He had died helping him, and his mythical mutation was splitting his skull.

The man coughed. "Perhaps you could deactivate your suppression skill? On the Dragon laws, I give you my word that I won't take advantage of that to harm you or your loved ones."

Deep inside him, Priam knew that Vysharratjekto shared his bloodline. Swearing on draconic laws certainly had dramatic consequences.

Priam deactivated Hecate New Moon with a grimace. He couldn't keep it for long, and its activation had a terrifying price. The backlash was immediate: dizziness and blindness.

Simultaneously, the wound was transferred to his soul, which trembled.

His perception of the aether blurred, and Priam focused on the perception offered by his Concepts and his Domain to orient himself.

"Thank you. We wished to get to know our new neighbors and—"

"I'd like access to the Auctions," Laepa cut in. "Some of my brothers and sisters are in a coma, fighting necro corruption, and we're looking for elixirs to help them."

A growl drew Priam's attention. Kazuki was leaving his invincibility unsteadily. "I can sympathize, but we'll talk about that when my friend feels better," Priam replied, rushing over. "How are you feeling?" he asked, offering his hand.

"Like a Tier 3 beat me up," the hoplite replied, accepting Priam's help. Two streams of blood flowed from his pierced thighs. "I see you gave her a beating."

"I would've finished the job if they hadn't intervened," Priam growled, supporting Kazuki.

"I would've killed you, you little shit!" Eleha exclaimed in French. With her head squashed on the ground, it was hard to take her seriously.

Laepa pressed further, causing a crack to appear in the Forum's pavement. "I'll keep an eye on her. I brought along an apprentice Shaman; she can speed up his healing," she added.

"Thanks," Priam replied before addressing Eleha. "If you want to try something stupid, remember that you represent your tribe. Even if you can survive an H-bomb, I'm not sure your whole family could pull off the same feat. Think about the safety of the weaker ones," he said, pointing to the Tier 0 Aelbe. Priam felt dirty saying these words, but the safety of his loved ones was his top priority.

The five warriors looked toward Log-a-rhythm. There, the apprentice shaman Aelbe was yelling at the other two Tier 0s, unaware that one of her locks had just fallen to the ground.

Eleha paled upon seeing a shadow dagger pressed against her pupil's throat.

Eleha fr deserved that

James Faulkner

Well I was wrong in my predictions but Eleha definitely deserved that lol. Also Priam going all in is excellent! I wasn’t expecting the Snaherts to have a vested interest in keeping Priam alive but that’s cool too, especially since they’re likely to help him cultivate his draconic bloodline

KipBR

A beautiful chapter.

Derze

Nice. It’s interesting how they all noticed his death and subsequent resurrection. The other interesting part is that we got a potential clue of how he will achieve 2 revives back to back with a Nirvana.(In a sense that maybe he is closer if others are noticing? Because it’s not really new) I do miss the notification for the failed attempt, though maybe because he used to instantly appear there wasn’t enough time for a legit chance

bcd051

So friggin good

Zaim İpek

Yes!! Ideal Erosion Resistance upgrade!! That's definitely going to give a significant boost to Meta-endurance. He has been desperately needing more Meta-endurance for a long time. That's going to let him eventually use Hecate's New Moon for a while without the backlash. It's also going to raise the threshold of how much he can push all of his skills. His body is plenty durable enough to withstand as much physical exertion as he can give, but his Meta-endurance has been the bottleneck for all his aether-related skills. Endurance probably needs to be at least equal to his affinity for him to endure his own skills at maximum strength, and having that ideal upgrade should help immensely. I have been waiting for this specific upgrade since the very first time he overloaded his body with his own aether. I hope it also gives him Meta-authority. It's curious we saw no level gains for True Will or New Moon. Those skills must be insanely advanced if not even this was enough for a single level.

BelligerentGnu

Eleha's going to be an ongoing pain in the ass now, isn't she?

Zaim İpek

Now that you mention it, that may be why he was rejected. He has not truly faced death yet. It's probably not until he finds a cause worth dying for and fully commits himself to give everything for the pursuit that he can be acknowledged as worthy of Nirvana. . . I can think of a few things. Perhaps giving his life to kill Bastard and free Sphinx, or defend Log-A-Rhythm from certain destruction. I could see him giving his life for either of those.

Kevin Albers

Gaeserts have been set up to look like straight forward decent tribe, Snaeherts have been shown to be dicks but now there might be more there, Albes is looking straight up shitty with Eleha as their chosen representative

Zaim İpek

This shows Priam is now ready to kill a tier-3. Not all tier-3 will be as strong as Elha. There is huge variation within tiers. Priam could just find a weaker tier-3, and probably not have much problem defeating it by giving 100% from the start. It may spend a life, but he could do it without any assistance. And he would not have to worry about New Moon backlash leaving him in a weakened state among enemies if he expends a life. He should go and get the achievement asap once his trait is primed and the situation at Oasis is stable. Yes, I realize it's not that simple to just curate an ideally powerful but not too powerful enemy while avoiding other enemies that would be certain death, but with Mist and Ideal Aether Perception he should be able to both avoid detection and accurately measure his enemies' power.

Ahppy

Nah, in a few weeks Priam will be able to beat her like an unruly child. Probably around when he either kills a fallen god or finishes his next set of tribulations.

Andrew

Thank you!

James Faulkner

Yeah the tribe-POV chapters really threw me off which is awesome. It’s rare a story subverts my expectations that smoothly. I’m excited to see how the Snaherts are from another perspective

James Faulkner

Agreed lol, she’s a temporary issue but she’ll be trash in no time at the rate Priam is going.

Luciaron

hmm without Priam's special powers linking your body and soul looks to be mid at best, just as many downsides as benefits. These tribes survive on Elysium so their average level should be pretty good compared to elsewhere.

LIMBO

She got humiliated by tier 0s who's been in the system for a couple of months... she's too prideful, Tier 1 Priam can def end her.

LIMBO

Priam is too young, too early for him to probably deal with a Nirvana bc it seems to be a test as well; that's why whoever decides told him to upgrade Pyro before he accepts him.

Auber

It seems like she is a veteran T3 but she was also handicapping herself by not using skills. That said, if Priam had used New Moon before he died his could have blown her head off with breath. He’d also not have to worry about the after effects then either.

James Faulkner

Forget tier 1 lol, as soon as he gets Heavenly Dragon up and running she’s done

Zaim İpek

In an actual fight, Priam would have no chance against her. She has enough skills and experience to counter anything he throws at her. Of that I am confident. Even if he spends a life from his trait and follows up immediately with a second full-force kamikaze attack, the best he would do is give her a bad injury. But that's not a problem. I'm thinking about the tier-3 he attacked with Dishnu, which was much weaker. With his new skill with aether, his recently strengthened skills/stats and his newly boosted threshold to wield aether without completely destroying himself. I am confident he could destroy a tier-3 of that level with a single attack using 100% of his ability (basically overloading his aether endurance to stack as many abilities together as possible and sacrificing a life.) And even if the first attack doesn't completely finish the job, what is left of the enemy would be injured enough to defeat without straining or risking himself.

Zaim İpek

I would say still a problem until he returns from Colosseum round 2, and even then she is supported and shielded by a tier-4. I have a feeling that after challenging the Colosseum again and getting the rewards from whatever insanely high wave he clears, only the most exceptionally talented tier-3 elites or weak tier-4s and higher will be able to seriously endanger his life.

Zaim İpek

Yeah, it's a pretty bad racial trait, but I think it exists in the story as a step towards higher levels of micro that perfectly control both body and soul as well as being a component for an actually very useful future trait when he upgrades his race again. So it sucks for now but will be a big benefit later (I hope).

Dungeonborn

New moon is not a skill it’s a mutation and can therefore not be leveled like a skill

Zaim İpek

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. It didn't seem to show up as an attribute of his race. It's very unclear to me what exactly Hecate's New Moon is and how to categorize it among everything else he can do.

Ihsan Gunay

It’s a personal talent like bound weapon and concept archipelago. They are separate from the race talents but the same concept.

HJSecond

He got it as one of the arena awards in chapter 104, It's an eye mutation.

Zaim İpek

Ok, that makes sense, that means it can get stronger, but there are no notifications about it.

Wiggles1

It seems to be a special not-skill thingy that he got from a body mod. Like his wyvern heart but not as OP.

Wanderer

My God, what a fight!

Subliminary

He Who Eludes Death is *NOT* primed currently

Baconwargod

On Lvl Up: [Fire Champion Physique] lvl 2, 3 VIT +3 CONST +3 META (Endurance) +3 It should be +6 to all right? Since it leveled up twice?

Dungeonborn

Through is it? What we’ve seen so far was always with the addendum that there is massive backlash because Priam is too weak or doesn’t know how to use it properly

Johan

Seriously is eve and claire not bad enough eleha has to be added aswell? 3 chapters only for nothing to happen and priam just shows of his resurrection ability i thought he had to keep that hidden? I dont get why they even have that tree base its useless and everyone knows their location please make arnold the main character im so sick of priam going around being friends with everyone like kazuki tried to kill him twice and now they seem to be best friends for some reason and its so strange how the tribes can just walk in on the rivals territory i thought that territory was given to the rivals so they could be protected from tier 3s and higher so they could fight for treasures but now they all seem to be buddies has that whole plot just gotten removed? i thought that the rivals would be fighting in elysium and their civilizations would be fighting on that other planet? what even is the plot anymore is priam seriously just going to sit in elysium and be protected by his plot armor then train untill he becomes the stronges in the entire universe while all his enemies like viracocha just sits back and do nothing? is everyone in this story really that incompetent he literally just showed everyone his resurrection ability and not a single one thought that it might be a good idea to go and snatch it for themselves even the system labels him as deaths obsession

Baconwargod

Dude I get it I’ve had melt downs over stories that make me mad. I understand the anger but literally just leave. It’s not worth it if you’re not liking what the chef is cooking don’t yell in the restaurant just leave and don’t come back.

_mori

Probably not. Eleha might hold a grudge, but whatever tier 4 she answers to, as well as the tier 4s of the other tribes, if they know how she behaves, will probably take measures to keep her away from Priam. Maybe just keep her busy with tasks. The hydrogen bomb was described as having enough power to kill her. It doesn’t take a genius to see how events would play out if they let her make Oasis hostile. The tier 4s might survive, but the tier 3s and below would be helpless so long as their camp is targeted. Heck, Priam’s ability to revive with seemingly high confidence would make him a more frustrating enemy to have.

_mori

I agree. It’s likely currently the most powerful thing in Priam. Furthered by its apparent ability to draw on his tribulation wyvern heart upon activation.

Johan

Its not a meltdown its just criticism the story is spread out to much to the point where the author has to force these strange encounters just like the tribes now that clearly priam is not ready for eleha has more than double their stats and all her supremacies at lvl 3 they should not even last 5 seconds against her but priam and kazuki out of nowhere just become overpowered and he keeps adding these shallow annoying charachters like claire eleha and eve just so people continue hate reading when he should structure his plot more and not add all these weird things like remember that ocean world priam went into what happened to that? and what happened to virachocha he was built upp to be the villian of this arc over 80 chapters a good villian aswell but now hes nowhere to be seen and he was replaced by that budget fallen god that felt incredible forced especially when eve just shows upp out of nowhere and leads sphinx into the dungeon the author needs to progress the story better instead of adding these super strong people like the tribes in out of nowhere and making priam super overpowered i thought it was basically impossible to defeat people with higher supremacies but it seems pretty damn easy this chapter

None of this is out of no where Priam has killed several Tier 2 and seriously wounded a Tier 3 before. All before either Kazuki or Priam became Aces. This has been well established in their abilities. The tribes have literally been known since the third or second chapter of the book. We have been given several interludes specifically about them. None of this is out of left field. And it is extremely hard it’s been mentioned she held back the entire time. Priam died and had to use his mutation to do what he did. Both things that came at a severe cost. You’re just mad bro go take a walk outside or something.

You should calm down and reread the last 2-3 chapters. None of your criticisms are unaddressed. Also, go easy with the hate for the female antagonists. None of them, by design, are written to be likable, but you seem to hate even the fact that they exist as characters. It isn’t even like they frequently outperform Priam. Claire was caught and executed, Eve is only alive because Priam doesn’t want to alert Sumstreh and has even fallen lower on the God’s hierarchy of importance below Priam (from what we last saw) and Eleha just got her narcissistic ass handed to her with little she can do about it in front of her peers.

Johan

Just because they were mentioned does not mean they should show upp this early and that tier 3 that priam killed was one of those zombie things which get stronger over time but are really weak in the beginning that does not mean priam should be able to fight against someone who literally has all their supremacies at lvl 3 did you read how much stronger kazuki became after he got micro 2? it should no be possible for them to last 5 seconds against eleha and priam did not have to pay anything whats so ever lets be honest here his mutation is super broken and he got it out of nowhere the tribes are kind to priam for no reason they should have killed priam then and there after he resurrected but priams plotarmor is just to strong and mori are you seriously telling me eve claire and eleha is there for any other reason than the reader to hate them and see them be killed by priam? really??? i hate priam aswell so im completely unbiased here i dont care about them outperforming priam or whatever i just hate shallow annoying characters the only characters i like in this story are arnold alain, prometheus louis and marcella but shes dead because the author just had to force another trash plotline

😂bro is bitching again. If you hate every character stop paying and let the ppl who like the story enjoy it. Imagine being suprised the MC has plot armor when his main talent is literally resurrection🙄.You’ve jumped to a lot of conclusions and made criticisms based off your own conjecture. Every chapter and development has been justified and in sequence. Didn’t even know it was possible to be a web novel Karen. RELAX bro

Zaim İpek

Dude, you are paying money to read these chapters. Are you ok? You hate the central focus of this story, and are paying to read it anyway, upset yourself, and complain.

Johan

Calling someone a karen really people still do that unironically? and using emojis you really need to lose a few of your teeth maybe then you you will gain a few braincells back

Blightdad

TFTC! Is Eleha Gaesert or Aelbes? Love the combat. Need moooooore

Its a very double edged sword right now. Once he gets to Tier 1 and goes for his next Racial upgrade itll be improved. Its very very good as far as racial traits go. if he can just remove the down sides I have no doubt that alone would qualify it for Mythic rarity.

Zaim İpek

Dude, you are getting upset at emojis now. I think you need to take a walk and practice some calm breathing exercises.

That's a good point! It's likely the tier-4 is actually far more sane and level-headed than Eleha (not exactly difficult to achieve). It makes more sense to become allies with someone who has real potential to reach the high-tiers even if that means upsetting a prominent tribe member.

Baconwargod

Aelbes and I know what you mean each chapter makes me more excited for the next chapter

Priam

There are big negatives, but it's also a trait that boosts the speed of Domain acquisition, resistances and even talent when you're focused and obssessed with a goal. For someone looking for Achievements, Rare Titles and Supremacy, it's powerful. For someone who just wants to live his life, it's not so great, you're right guys! Of course, this is a fantasy progression, so it's also a preparation for the future...

tftc! I feel spoiled after the previous long chapter. Eagerly awaiting the next one!

I think the same. If the changes in his body are analogous to changes in his soul, then if he can figure out how to use micro to influence his soul, he should be able to learn any skills in theory. When he used a skill book to learn Mask, when the concepts modified his soul to grant him Ideal Aether Perception, all those changes probably occured in his soul. If he ever wants to bypass the ‘requirements’ for ideal skills, manipulating his soul might be the best answer for him. Either way, I hope the add-on will start paying attention to his soul and the way it responds to his body, and any other time he gains skills from rewards or the concepts.

_mori

Yeah. The most obvious way to supplement the talent would be to incorporate that of a race that has a resilient soul talent or something similar. Or a resilient body talent. Either one would do a lot. Both would be even better.

I’m dying for a chappie!

Bootsie Mcfootsie

There's no world where the tier 3 from the tribe that desperately needs access to the auction house would've let that situation go on that long.
