Our voice actor was unaware of how large the project was and quickly felt overwhelmed.  Sadly Allen has decided he is not ready for such a roll.

We do however have another very talented VA that we are reaching out to and look forward to having him to voice Peter very soon.

Even though we are disappointed at the sudden change we respect Allen's decisions and wish him well on future projects.  We ask that everyone please do the same and give him the privacy he would like.

Thank you all for love and support and will have a voice for Peter very soon ❤

I really hope the intense ones will come down a bit to their excitement next time. We were all excited in a certain way and maybe some didn't like his work, but it wasn't the right way to react by bothering him. I hope and hopefully he goes well, I really liked it for this job ;;

tbh i dont blame him for his decision at all. within 1 hour of fuboo announcing him being the new VA for peter, yall spammed his twitter page relentlessly. so imagine what wouldve happened if we actually heard him in-game 💀

Alright I'm sorry if I come off rude, I really don't want to, but how did he not know or do his research? If you apply to voice act for something shouldn't you try to see if it's something you'll be comfortable working with? I respect him stepping down but really, if you apply for these kinda things, please do your researchand see if you're ok working with what it's about. It saves both parties the time and stress. Edit: And don't go harassing the guy. He doesn't deserve hate like that. Just be patient and polite.

I would make sure that they KNOW the kind of fanart, and fans, that are out there. I would also give them a heads up before announcing them- poor Allen didn't even KNOW you announced him until people started tweeting and replying to his posts, so he didn't even have a chance to prepare for the insanity. Plus, some people were being fucking CREEPY in the replies, like.... genuinely creepy. I'm obsessed with a fictional character and even *I* found it gross the way some of the people were replying. Yes, I got excited too, and I own up to that- but I was congratulating him, not making a max-character-limit spam of barking, awoogas, and random letters or telling the guy I want to masturbate to his voice.

I'm very sorry to hear the news. When I saw the replies, I was worried on how he'll take since some were... sorta intense? I understand where he is coming from and wish him well. EDIT: Also peeps, please don't blame the VA in the comments. A gig is a gig, and no matter the career choice, we take what we can get. I literally took porn/furry commishes back in the day even when I was reluctant at first because that's what help me upgrade my art gear. We don't know the guy's situation when he took the gig so let's cut him some slack

It doesn't matter if he did research or not- there was no way he could've expected people to be that level of creepy and insane towards him and start fucking BARKING at him. Even fuboo's own twitter posts about the project don't get that kind of response, and she posts literal porn of the characters.

I am truly not surprised that he stepped down so quickly. There is so many minors and disgustingly creepy fans thoroughout this community as a whole now, it's truly disappointing to see how this tiny little fandom blew up in a span of NO time at all. Just for it to be completely ruined for the rest of us who are here for the content. Do better, guys. Come on now.

Well that's really sad. Yeah, i'm a simp towards peter but why touching the real person, VA? Some people are just crazy, no matter what fandom they're in. I hope fuboo doesn't feel like everything is falling apart... Drama with the first VA, then drama with some person who claimed bad stuff about fuboo and now this. I really hope you're not to disappointed and upset about this whole project! I believe in you and hope that everything is going to be alright!

Someone posted on twitter a joke he said in bad taste 2 years ago, which apparently labels him for life and made a lot of people uncomfortable so he stepped down himself.

Dang, I came late so I never got to hear Peter's voice. Oh well. All I know is after taking multiple routes, I noticed that Peter was using British terms, or speaking in a way Ive heard British people speak. (I.e Calling you Love, Darling, and saying "I am Mad" as in crazy) and now I'm reading his words with a British accent....

i feel like as a creator you should keep the va in the loop of announcements and such.. and you should make a final note of how intense a fan base can be!!! especially with how people in the comments on the ex-va’s page were.. super fucking creepy.

I didn't even know all this was happening. Personally, I don't even care to have voice actors; I just want to be able to play the game that I've paid $16 for now. I've had the glitch where I'm stuck at the beginning park scene since the last update. I'm really frustrated!!

Hey, I just recently got a Patreon account (so I could play YB of course. Huge instant fan). I'm not very tech savvy and am still learning how to use any of this stuff. Do you have to have a laptop to play the game or can you play it on your phone? I'm sorry if it's a dumb question I'm not familiar with a lot of this stuff. Any information would help. Yeah it's only for laptop (and not Mac, just Windows for now), you would just use the updated link to download the folder with the exe file to play, then you just use your patreon email and the game password (it's HelloDarling). Hope that helps! :)

i don't know if you've tried to reset your computer and/or completely re-down load the game. you could also try to enter the game through your files if you're entering the game from your home thingy, but that should fix it i think?

I see a lot of people saying a bunch of different things so I just wanted to add that just recently, Allen posted an update where he said he’s been diagnosed with anxiety and that’s why he left— his anxiety got the better of him and he felt overwhelmed by how large the project was because he wasn’t expecting it to be so huge and he’s only starting out his career. He didn’t comment on anything about being harassed.
