Wow. So much to unpack and process from that final special.

Hope you all enjoyed the live stream! They've been a lot of fun to do and certainly we'll look at what else we can do with that format.

Here it is for anyone who missed out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVJ5aygbvzY and the audio version is now available from all your regular podcast providers. Massive props to Matt for getting stuff processed and uploaded!

As mentioned, next Thursday we'll be trying our best to fully breakdown the events surrounding Doctor Who's 60th Anniversary, but especially that final hour of TV! So please leave your questions or general thoughts and feelings in the comments about any and all of what the 60th Anniversary brought us and we'll get around to all of them in next week's Q&A!

Allons-y!

I very much enjoyed the three stories, but not the added lore. I can’t help but wish that they had just been “three previously unseen 10th Doctor stories”, or “an alternative 10th Doctor timeline”. That would cut out a lot of casual viewer confusion, retain sensible Doctor numbering, so you’d get to see Jodie regenerate into Ncuti’s 14th Doctor, and cut out a lot of the questionable optics that you guys have previously highlighted, such as the fact that David Tennant once again encroached into Jodie’s era, or the fact that David is technically “the other current Doctor on standby” in addition to Ncuti etc etc. Or couldn’t David’s second Doctor at least have been a named Doctor, so that Ncuti is the 14th 😭 I feel like calling David the 14th Doctor makes the three specials out to be a bigger deal in the history of the show than they really are, as much as I enjoyed them and David’s performance.

Now we have two on-screen performances of the Toymaker, which one did you prefer more? NPH or Michael Gough? It may be unfair to rank as Michael Gough's performance is mostly lost, but as Dr.Who fans we love to rank everything and anything
