In 1988, a crack film unit was sent to Watford by a tinpot production company with an out of work actor. This actor read his lines, walked, and looked around to an adequate standard for a direct-to-video film. If you have a script, if no one else wants the job, and if he's still allowed to mix with the general public....maybe you can hire John Levene.

NOTE: Digital copies of the original 1988 release of Wartime are hard to come by - as a result, we've had to use a pretty poor quality VHS rip. Sound and picture is a bit rough but manageable.

There are two versions, this is the original VHS release from 1988 - there’s a later re-release from the late 90s which is likely the one on DVD and streaming. 😊
