RoD PSA | Patreon/Apple Introducing 30% Convenience Tax from November (Patreon)

Hey RoDers,

Just a wee PSA from your Friendly Neighbourhood Arseholes. Patreon creators received a notification from the Big Bosses this morning highlighting an upcoming change to the way you guys support our work.

From November, any pledges made through the iOS version of the Patreon app will be forced to carry a 30% tax. This will be billed directly from you. The only impacts new members - nothing will change for existing RoDers.

If, for whatever reason, you need to stop supporting our Patreon and then decide to continue your pledge, don't do it via the Apple Store app - do it via desktop or some other form.

We'll try and get more info our of Our Lords and Masters to see how else this might affect you guys, but we fancied giving y'all the heads up.
