Your information is safe in patreon. Patreon is a secure global system.

Patreon creators can see 

1- Your user name

2- Your e-mail

3-Your discord user name, if you have one and if you wrote your discord name when sign up.

You can confirm these with patreon support. Mostly, they answer your questions in 24 hours between Monday - Friday.

If you dont feel comfortable with these informations here are what you can do ;

1 - Do not use your real name. You can always use a nickname when signing up to patreon.

2- Do not use a mail that contains your name.

3- Do not use your real life picture on your profile

About Links

Not only in sims community but also other community creators are sending links via dms. This is because patreon doesnt have necessary tools for managing different tiers. I always use mediafire links for new content and everyone gets same link. You can also confirm this by download numbers of the links you get.
