Question for girl dads: how do you deal with shitty teenage daughter attitudes that genuinely appear to come from nowhere? I was beaten as a kid, and have done my absolute best to be a peaceful parent, save 1 swat when she was maybe 4 years old. My concern now is she's gonna talk slick to the wrong stranger out in the real world and get her teeth knocked out. Thoughts?

Girls be girls. We will never understand them, but listening and accepting goes a long way. Then when they are out of pocket you hit them with “that’s not how I treat you is it?” Teach them to be the kind of girl that respects themselves but their boyfriends don’t want to hit them during the game. Also every parent makes mistakes so be honest about your mistakes and set the example for how to own your shit
