EDIT: All right comrades, pulled out the Gold LEPA 800 and its nasty entrails and switched in my faithful ANTEC 520 bronze, it seems my SSDs have survived the surges and I'm gonna be able to set my workstation back up, fingers crossed tomorrow should be normal.

Yes I had a useless 800 because I envisaged SLI upgrades 8 years ago.  I'm old.

I have started work on the Oeda bit, needs a bit of a composition recalibration but I'll have a WIP tomorrow if all is gud.

My Desktop PC seems to have died, or at least the power block (surges and straight up shuts down the local wall socket (dunno the right terms in English =X ), I think I have a decent spare block that I can test this with tomorrow,. The comp is 7 years old (with older bits in it) so it's probably overdue, my only fear is potential surge damage to my main drive and backup, that woul be... a setback...[nervous smile] Is that common?

I still have my laptop setup with all the essentials so I can keep working, just a bit suboptimally until I get a new desktop setup, something I'm only partly enthusiastic about because that would mean switching to Win11 and likely dealing with wobbly lines on my Cintiq.

I have funds set aside for this, it'll work out :)

I'll make do and keep at it, I'm strangely calm and collected. Back soon with news =O

EDIT: yup, block smells smokey =>

That sucks about the block man. You'll get a replacement soon so just take it at your own place c:
