A little background!

I am interested in WW1 in general, it represents the most brutal transformation in warfare in the whole of history and contrary to WW2 there’s a lot of weird, half-baked and clunky-looking transitional technology that I find fascinating. It’s not easy to capture that feel when designing appealing girls, uniforms of the time were not form fitting to say the least, but they have panache and grit, it’s a challenge I enjoy!

I have made a few attempts with the girls below in the context of Neo-Queendom anthologies, it’s not a full time project but I do want to keep elaborating on it.

Wilhelmina was inspired by the general sophistication that was attributed to the German Army in terms of weaponry and gear as well as martial rectitude. She’s a “Light” Machine gun specialist who actually carries the damn thing around herself, along with a slightly anachronistic feeding device on her back that serves as an ammo loader! She’s stern but coy beneath the veneer of confidence.

Marianne is a real-life French symbol, but this version is very much a manifestation of the candor that France displayed when WW1 was afoot, for many at the time it was just an opportunity to get revenge on the fritz who snatched Alsace-Lorraine a few decades prior, it would be over by Christmas of course, just a formality. Didn’t happen that way. 1914 Marianne is a plucky Warmother, inspired by her famous depiction by Delacroix and propaganda imagery from the times, she’s lightly equipped and still very much stuck in the XIXth century.

Danjou is derived from the famed French Foreign Legion, a notoriously tough corps composed of non-French nationals, historically based in northern Africa. She’s a towering veteran wielding a Chauchat, one of those early machine guns with haphazard “half-moon” mags that caused a lot of problems in the field. She doesn’t care though, she has a bayonet and an extra row of abs.

This is all meant to be appealing, not accurate in any way of course!

So here we are, I want to add a MILF to the mix, I will draw inspiration from the item you choose and come up with an original character, featured in a pic!
